What a great dinner at our anniversary day. Chief Jin, his assistances and hostess - thank you for great atmosphere, tasty food... and relaxed time. All the dishes are aesthetically unique and tasty. Everything served in time, attention to the clients at topnotch level. Amazing atmosphere. Another great sushi, or I would say Japanese cuisine "a must" experience. Pricy for everydaydining but worth it, and definitely place to be for another visit. Read more

Rin had got to be one of the best experiences I've had with Japanese cuisine in Toronto. This restaurant is by far one of the... best settings, service, and arrangements of food. Even though it's listed as "Omakase", but truly what you're experiencing ismore of "Kaiseki" of Chef Jin's expertise. As this is not just sushi for the whole dining experience. Every dish was very wellthought out and prepare with care by Chef Jin. Being able to watch him take such care putting everything together, show how muchheart and passion he puts into each dish and item. I am a Japanese culture fanatic, and I wanted to experience what I have whileI visit everytime. Chef Jin was truly able to bring back a lot of experience and memories while I was in Japan. The restaurantsetting and ambience was quite on par, and the servers were very attentive. It really felt like they've brought Japan to me thatevening. It was a big bonus to have smooth jazz music playing in the background to accompany the ambience. Which a lot ofpeople didn't know that, jazz music is a big part of Japanese music culture. That is why when you visit Japan, a lot of bars, restaurants, and cafe plays jazz music in the background. Overall, I highly recommend anyone that is looking for a greatexperience to come visit Rin Sushi. Take your time to savour every bite, and let the dishes create memories. Read more

A omakase style kaiseki meal. Excellent ambience and vibe, with thoughtful touches on the food and a warm, welcome environment... with the chef. A little intimidating if you don't have experience with this style, but a most thoroughly enjoyable experience.Come for the experience, enjoy the food, leave with the memory. Pricey, so save for those special occasions where you cansavour it. Read more

Visited Rin Sushi on Valentine's day and Chef Jin did not disappointed. This restaurant only serves one omakase menu for $195... per person. Highlights for me was the tamago tofu with foie gras, truffle mushroom rice and the uni toro hand roll! I've hadmany toro uni hand rolls but this is the best I've had. It has some crispy bits and the uni just melts in your mouth. Would comeback just for the handroll. Read more

Fresh ingredients, nicely plated and sushi is very nice as well. the restaurant has a nice ambiance and service is great. ... HOWEVER, for a price of 195, the quantity of food is SAD. the sashimi platter only has 4 slice of fish. wagyu sukiyaki only has2 slice of beef and honestly it didt taste like a wagyu A5. Zensai come in tiny portions, the whole course is not adequatelysized, overall portion is not enough for adult male. A omakase is not suppose to give you a full stomache, however leavingguests hungry after the meal is unacceptable. Its overall a nice experience, but for sure its overpriced. Read more
