I went in this evening with my kids and I was browsing the menu, I simply asked what oreo blizzard flavors do you have, since an... item I ordered last month was discontinued. The manager an older asian lady named Dora rudely just said oreo. After, I continuedto order and she spoke to me in a condescending manner and wouldnt stop rushing me, even though there was no one in the store. That was the worst service I've received and an absolutely rude employee. "Unbelievable that DQ refused to charge the correct amount for my order. My cost was $7 89 before tax which senior employee... present (who wouldn't give me her name) agreed with. Problem is with 13% tax I should pay $8.92 but DQ insisted that I pay$9.54 because that is total shown on cash register. No way will I be overcharged by DQ. DQ knew I'd write this review butdidn't care and invited me to call head office which I will via e-mail. The cash register receipt is illegible!" I was called byfranchisee soon after writing this review. I understand now that the difference is 8% tax on the second (BOGO) item. I was toldby franchisee that this PST tax was in the terms and conditions in the app at the time of my redemption but all I could findafter I learned this information in a somewhat similar BOGO are the words "Plus tax as applicable". In my opinion, those 4 wordsdo not adequately inform the reader about which part or all of the typical 13% sales tax is applied to the 'GO' item. Had thereceipt been legible, I'd have figured out myself the reason for the difference and paid. Hopefully, the senior employee I dealtwith will be coached appropriately by the franchisee. Read more

The Dairy Queen closes at 10 PM but on Google it says the hours are until 10:30 PM. I went at 10:15 PM to get a cake for a... birthday and the doors were open but they said they couldn't serve me and that they closed. Pretty frustrating when you drive30 minutes to get a cake and they say they're not open but they're open? Read more

Terrible Location, owner and employees are equally lost. Go to Aurora instead or Richmond Hill. Tower hill is a pathetic joke.... Head office should take over or shut this location down. Read more

Most peculiar dairy Queen I've ever been to. It was like they just opened and I was the first customer. They have no prep... station for their blizzards so the two I ordered they were all over the store getting the toppings.........from boxes...... Inthe case of the caramel, he had to go to an upright fridge and pour some into a cup - stir it with a bewildered look on his facethen dump it from cup A into cup B. It was his first time using the mixer it would seem as that was just humorous as heck towatch. Then he brings the two blizzards (I am by myself) and they are an inch over the rim. Since I need to transport thesehome, I naturally ask for a lid. He gets visibly annoyed and takes two FLAT plastic lids - scrapes the inch of blizzard off thetop into the garbage and then seals it. What happened to the HUGE dome lids every other dairy Queen has? Using a normal pop lidresulted in melted ice cream all over my car. Blizzards in the end were poorly mixed with it being 50% toppings and ice creamand the other 50% undisturbed plain icecream. Drive a little extra to the aurora location Read more
