Usually frequent Old Yorke fish and chips when feeling like fish and chips. Living in the north end it is quite a journey on a... week night so after a Costco run decided to take a chance here based on the reviews. I was very happy, the good was prepared onthe spot and arrived hot and was super tasty. The portion size was great and the prices were good. We had amazing service aswell which will definitely bring us back again. Well done, keep it up! Read more

Nice mom & pop business, 2 owners/staff we're friendly and accommodating. Large parking lot so no worries on finding... parking Ordered 2 lunch specials (cod or haddock), fries & pop $9.95. Great deal as fries were plentiful, crispy and onelarge fish portion. A slight wait as fish/fries are cooked to order. Fish has a nice light tempura like batter whichcompliments the fish. Fries were hand cut and not the frozen variety As usually, why is it only a small portion of tartar saucegiven verses the amount of fish, must be a conspiracy amongst all the fish & chip restaurants to limit the amount of tartarsauce given to customers. They did have malt vinegar & ketchup on the tables though. Very pleasant lunch and value for yourmoney Read more

Crispy and delightful fish and chips. Definitely worth the price, even better with the specials. The fries were also satisfying... to eat. Was still crispy after getting takeout. The batter used was crunchy and kind of interesting. The service was fast and itwas prepared quickly. Would recommend trying it out. Read more

A no frills straight forward fish and chips spot. The food came out quick and the fry was a perfect golden brown. Personally, I... prefer the chips to be more crispy but that's my preference. They are true to the dish. Got the daily special with the cod.Looking forward to trying more dishes here Read more

Amy's fish and chips was great! The size of the fish and the amount of fries they gave had me stuffed by the end of my meal.... They had a special for the cod, and I was able to switch my fries for the sweet potato fries. We also had a side of onion rings. If you're ever craving fish and chips, and you're in the area, check them out! My husband and I will be coming back soon! Read more

The best fish and chips that I've had in a very long time. The chips were surprisingly quite good - crispy and chunky. We... ordered cod, haddock and halibut in a bun. All fish were lightly battered and not at all oily. I ate half my chops beforetouching the fish - and it was still piping hot! We enjoyed everything there. At $10 each (with chips and a pop) taxes in, itwas a great deal. It has become my go to fish and chips place. Another plus - the family run restaurant was very friendly andaccommodating to our extra requests such as hot sauce and extra tartar sauce. We dined in and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Read more
