Have been looking forward to trying this restaurant after hearing good reviews.....but was very disappointed by the... service. Arrived on a Tuesday at 6pm (without a reservation), restaurant was pretty empty. The waitress brings us to a tableinside a small room with a total of 3 tables. We ask if there's a table in the main dining area as we stated it was pretty hotin the room. She doesn't bother checking and says there's no tables available at all and says the A/C is on. Throughout thedinner, we are all getting warmer and even sweating a little. When another party got seated in the table next to ours, the roomwas quite loud. The general attitude of the servers was very bad, everyone in my party thought so. They were quite snarky andnot very polite to us. Although, we noticed they were very pleasant to the 'regular customers'. The lobster meal we orderedwas just OK, nothing special. Price was reasonable. The little cake desserts that comes with the meal was quite dry. Apparentlythis chain has a online cake shop, but after tasting the mini cakes, would never order from them. Overall, the price of thecombo meals are reasonable but it's too bad the servers they hire aren't up to par. Wouldn't come back as there are many otherChinese restaurants in the area with better quality food and most importantly good customer service. Read more
We have heard mixed comments about this place and our lunch experience on Father?s Day was a positive one. Portion are huge and... food came really quickly. Service is also superb. Price is I say normal for this type of restaurant, but be sure to make areservation if you want to try it, I overheard them turning away walk in customers at opening! Read more
Used to be amazing value for AMAZING cantonese food. Prices have since gone up, doesn't feel worth it anymore =/. Food's still... amazing though. If you want Cantonese food, come here. If you are willing to spend a little extra. Read more

My husband went to StarChiva with his coworkers and raved about it so we ended up going here with our friends for his birthday.... It was the first time we celebrated a birthday with friends at a Chinese restaurant. Everyone was very impressed!! The value wasamazing and portions were big! We ordered the set meal for $5xx before tax and it came with at least 10 dishes. It was soo muchfood! Taste was excellent too. The service was surprisingly friendly and polite.
