Found this awesome BBQ place from a recommendation from Diners, Drive Inns & Dives!!! Wow?definitely the top 3 BBQ restaurants... I?ve visited outside of Texas. The brisket was out of this world!!! The sides: cucumber salad, garlic mash potatoes, cole slawand jalapeño Mac n cheese were delicious!!! The bourbon pecan pie and the pumpkin cheesecake were absolutely delicious. Alsotried the banana pudding, but it was a disappointment?was watered down and had very little flavor. But everything else wasvery, very good. I have been wanting to go so this past Sunday for my wife's birthday we drove from Hampton to eat. the line was not long and the... service was very fast and the people were awesome. we both had brisket and sides. the food was fantastic and we sat out side. mywife loved the coleslaw and the beans. the potato salad was great. I feel the brisket stole the show it was cooked perfect. theyonly cook enough meat for each day so it is fresh each day. get there early by the time we left the line was back to the door. we also meet the owner Orange was her name very friendly and a great woman. we will go back. I?ve never tasted food as good as ZZQ. Hands down best there is. My go to is Tres Hombres because you get 3 diff styles of meat.... Collard greens and jalapeño Mac and cheese will top it off! If you have not eaten here.. what are you waiting for?! If you?rein a rush for lunch get there 11:15-11:30 to beat the rush. They do sell out! Interesting that... you actually pay by the wight of the cuts you order, and they slice and wight them right in front of you just like a deli. Thesides are diverse and interesting, much more than you would find at any other BBQ place - the caramelized onion pie and thechipotle sweet potato were particularly amazing sides. A great dessert menu as well, though we didn?t try. They have a full bar,outdoor seating, and 3 BBQ sauce options at every table. Really a great spot for any occasion. I noticed several folks orderingmassive portions for takeout; pretty top-tier choice for entertaining a dinner party, I would say.
