Absolutely outstanding food!!! Service was fast, food was hot fresh and delicious!

The food was very good. Excellent hot tea. The atmosphere was lovely.

Was in town visiting family and we decided to get take out one of the nights. Nobody had eaten here before. Reviews spoke... highly of Yen Ching and they were right. My friend called on our lunch break to get us some food from them and the man was very rude. My friend went to get the food, he... only made mine & not hers, was yelling and carrying on with her, pointing in her face and all. Then told her next time she callto place a order he will make sure it will not be processed. This man argued her down!!!! One of my favorite restaurants in richmond. Always amazing food and great staff.

I always go here whenever I am in the area. Yen Ching is an old-fashioned sit-down restaurant (not a buffet) with excellent food... and prices. The place is always clean and the food is always great. Even the oranges they give you after the meal are sweet andgood! Read more

I haven?t been to a Chinese restaurant in Richmond in years and I was pleasantly surprised by this gem. Arrived for a birthday... lunch and we thoroughly enjoyed our meal. For drinks we ordered the Zombies a pretty good mix of Sweet & Strong. For my Entree Iordered Shrimp Lo Mein with Hot and Sour soup. This is my and my family's favorite Chinese restaurant. At least one of the locations has been open for over 30 years. My... favorite location is the Henrico restaurant which has a wonderful atmosphere with a water fountain and traditional large Chinesecarved wood art piece. Most days it is easy to be seated and the service is very prompt and efficient. My family has been aftergoing to a local event and our large crowd was easily seated also. The food has been consistent and service excellent over theyears. My favorite is sesame beef or sesame chicken which many Chinese restaurants do not offer. Their hot-and-sour soup is oneof the best in Richmond. I have never been disappointed. Read more
