We happened upon this gem of a restaurant by searching the Bring Fido app. They allow dogs inside the restaurant as long as they... are well behaved. They have gluten free bread that's local, for those of us with Celiac. They source what they can locally, which was an awesome find. We split 2 different sandwiches and 2 sides. Both were phenomenal and I loved their fall slaw! Thejuice bar was out of commission while we were there, so I good a Chai latte instead. It was very good. An overall phenomenalexperience and I would happily go back again if we were staying in the area longer. Read more

Staff is very friendly, however I just waited over 30 minutes for a bacon egg and cheese bagel. I honestly don't know how long... it would've took because I eventually just asked for them to cancel my order. 3 people working the counter. 2 were cooking, butmostly chatting and joking. Saw one of them nibbling on some food after they sent out 3 sandwiches so I said I'm not waitinganymore, especially for a $15 bacon egg and cheese sandwich. Save yourself some time and money. Edited: All though I was notsatisfied with my initial reaction, Urban Farmhouse has gone out of their way to make it right. They were always pleasant todeal with all though a bit on the pricey side of things as well as slow, they owne up to their mistakes and try to make itright. There were apparently issues of voiding and canceling my order a few weeks ago, and unfortunately was never refunded, however I received a call informing me they tried to do everything they could. They offered to let me get cash or a mailedcheck! I said just lemme get a free Sammy next time. The manager was very happy, and even offered to give me a little "extra",so I'm going to pop my head in for round 2, maybe bring a book, and see what Farmhouse actually has to offer. +2 stars for goodpeople running a good business. Let's just speed it up, or just not call it a Cafe! Read more

This spot has good coffee and a great atmosphere. It?s clear they spent time on the decor to give it that farmhouse feel. The... staff is also very friendly. As others have stated, the food and drinks are on the pricey side. I would still recommendgrabbing their coffee, but you can skip the breakfast. I ordered the Virginia Bacon & Egg sandwich and wasn?t the biggest fangiven the $10 price tag and what you actually get. However, I did enjoy their homemade honey walnut cream cheese - it?sdelicious! The biggest problem is definitely the wait time. It took about 30 minutes for me to get my order. The cashier hadher hands full taking orders and making drinks and the second employee was pushing out the food orders. They were doing the bestthey could, but a third employee was definitely needed. One of the worst breakfast experiences I ever had. First the drinks are like diluted water. The chai and the coffee were... absolutely tasteless. $6 for warm water. Then for the food i ordered an avocado toast. I got 2 thin slices of bread with a tinybarely visible spread of avocado. It came with a few blueberries and 2 dry carrot sticks. Never seen such a sad breakfast in mylife. She said they are running low on avocado so to compensate me gave me a tablespoon of tasteless hummus. Then argues with mehow is it that I?m not thankful that they gave me such a nice side dish (a tablespoon of tasteless store bough humous, when Iordered an avocado toast !). It?s a disgrace selling an avocado toast with maybe 2 grams of avocado on it. They should haveapologized and refunded me in the spot. Those sad 2 slices of bread I could have prepared at my house!! During our hour there,we saw them say to at least 2 other customers that they ran out of this and that. The other dish we ordered was chicken saladsandwich. Came on simple grocery store bread with a few blueberries and 2 dry carrot stick. The chicken salad was mediocre atbest. How they market them self as urban farmhouse is mind boggling. Absolute disregard for customers. Read more

We waited an hour for 2 panini sandwiches TO GO on a Sunday morning when there were empty tables, meaning not super busy. Not... sure why it took so long, maybe they had to go catch the free range chickens to wrangle some of their eggs?? Food was pricey butwe expected that, just didn't expect to wait an hour for 2 uncomplicated sandwiches with a side of cut up apple. Read more

Got the veggie sausage, I like the idea of a panini style breakfast sandwich, but this was just very dry. coffee tasted like it... came from a moldy Keurig (not being dramatic). Vegetarians, just stick to getting your breakfast sandwich from lamplighter likeeveryone else does. Read more

Urban Farmhouse Cafe gets four stars. Atmosphere is great, menu is creative and expansive. My meal pictured is a combo with... lentil soup and the beet salad. Value for your dollar is acceptable, not a bargain though. I wish that my meal came on a realplate that was larger. The waste of serving everything on disposables doesn't really line up with their sustainable/clean eatingangle. Not sure why but their branding feels a little dated. Second visit, last time was when they were still under Linden Row! Read more

We were so excited to go this highly recommended place. The visual appeal is definitely ?cool?, but the $53 spent on 3 bland... paninis, $6 for a cup of fruit/yogurt, and a weak chai tea was definitely let down! The woman who handed my son our food didn?trespond to his ?thank you?. Less than impressed. 1 star for the cool paintings on the wall. Read more
