Amazing hidden gem in Richmond. This was an immediate hit, food was delicious, wine was great and ambiance was lovely. You will... definitely need reservations ahead of time to find a seat but it's worth it. Had their Ribeye steak which was cooked to aperfect medium-rare and my partner had their Acorn Squash, some of the best meals we've had in a while. Definitely recommend fora date night. Will be coming back for sure! Read more

Galen was the perfect bartender, great recommendations on drinks and food. The food was absolutely incredible. From the art on... the wall to the impeccable service I will absolutely be back whenever I visit Richmond. We were treated like royalty the wholetime we were here. Definitely worth a visit if you want fresh from farm to table plates. Read more

This is your perfect date night out place. The chef is one of a kind. Creative and sources locally. Changes the menu enough to... keep it interesting, but not so much that you lose some favorites too fast. Splurge! Treat yourself! Read more

Food and service was great. The place is a bit small but they definitely make it up with the atmosphere.

We went here for a much needed date night, we walked into a quaint little alley like restaurant full of modern farmhouse... character. We were seated right away by an enthusiastic man and then brought water quickly. We started with a hand craftedcocktail and the lamb popsicles with whipped feta, carrots and pistachios. It was literally amazing perfectly cooked and juicy. The enters we?re even better and we wound up not feeling like we overpaid. I would definitely go back as soon as possible. Read more

The Stables at Belmont proves the axiom that there are many well-hidden locally-owned culinary gems in Richmond that you would... be hard-pressed to eat at in a year. The Stables is one of the tiniest, hippest and best restaurants that you may not have heardof before. We were served in a small wine bottle-filled private room by our waiter Tim who brought out surprise after surpriseof some of the best food I have ever eaten. The lamb lollipops ($16) over Frisée with tamari aioli were gorgeous, tender anddelicious. Do not miss an opportunity to try these if you visit. My personal favorite were the Southern scallops ($13) withcollard greens, rosemary polenta and bacon beurre, a fantastic southern-style presentation. The Creole Shrimp jambalaya ($13)with chimichurri and gremolata had everyone drooling. I also regret not ordering the Spanish mussels ($15) with mango, coconut,Calabrian chili, cilantro, saffron and grilled bread, but that?s a great reason to return. The Catch of the Day was Swordfish($29) over spring risotto with asparagus, snap peas, grilled corn, roasted red pepper, lemon, ricotta and pea shoots. My entréewas a fabulous Cioppino ($29) with shrimp, mussels, scallops, fish and andouille in a rich seafood broth with grilled bread. Wealso had the lobster & crab Parisian-style gnocchi ($32) with asparagus, snap peas, lobster cream and pecorino, which was eatendown to the very last drop and, finally, the duck breast ($29) in a duck-fried scallion pancake with grilled Bok choy andasparagus, which was very tender and fragrant. Dessert was a couple of scrumptious chocolate panna cottas ($8) and the totalwas $328.30 for four people. Drinks: Daou Chardonnay 2019 $13 x 2 = $26 Black Beauty with plantation rum, Gosling?s black rum, lemon blackberry puree and brown sugar lavender syrup $12 x 2 = $24 D.O.M. Bendictine $12 Letras Minúsculas Tempranillo,Garnacha, Graciano Rioja 2018 $10 Bombay Sapphire martini $9.25 Grand Marnier $9 Esperto Punit Grigio 201 Read more

Very cute little place in the Museum district. Looked around for a place for a good anniversary date night and I hit a home... run. Our waitress, Katherine, brought us two glasses of champagne since I told them in advance it was my anniversary. I wasvery pleasantly surprised. Started off with the beet salad. Very flavorful. My wife had the lamb lollipops. Tender, tastywith a nice char. I had their seafood pasta. They were very generous with the crab and lobster. The bartender was verycreative. A man devoted to his craft. So many good selections on the menu. But, my wife just gave some flavor profiles and hemade a wonderful custom drink. Finished the night off with their Mango bread pudding. They staff made us feel very special onour anniversary. Thanks for the wonderful food and service. Read more
