This place is WONDERFUL. I was skeptical after reading some of these reviews. All of the employees were helpful and friendly... from the moment we arrived until we left. The hostess was happy & friendly. We sat in the bar area by the river in front of afire pit and had a drink while waiting for our table - it was the perfect way to relax and much welcomed end to the work week.And the sunset was amazing!!! The place has a cool setting when you walk up. We had thought there was indoor dining based on some of the pictures but found it... was strictly outdoors. Which was all good. The wind and weather was compatible to enjoy a meal outside. They had plenty ofheaters around if need be. Service was excellent. They checked on us often enough and with good timing. Food was alright.Nothing earth shattering. We both had burgers. Quality of the ingredients on the burgers was good. I was a bit blown away by thestrawberry butter for the hush puppies. Which were awesome with and without the butter. We'll be back to hang out for drinksduring the summer and maybe try another starter but I'm not sure if it's some place we'll go out of the way for dinner. Read more

The chicken tender basket was underwhelming. I wanted the chicken for my salad, but I ate the tenders and took my salad home.... The Greek salad had the best pepperoncini I have ever tasted! I was told that they are imported from Greece. I asked for extrato take home, but I wish they came as a side. The service was pretty good except that I could not identify the servers from thepatrons. However, we had a few different servers who checked on us often, so we did not have to wait long for anything. I wouldrecommend going during day hours for the scenery. Read more

So we finally made it to The Lilly Pad after hearing great things about it! It was wonderful. From the time we arrived the... host greeted us and helped us decide where to sit based on our wind preference. Sitting on the water was amazing. Our waitresswas helpful and made great suggestions! Our food and drinks were delicious. I spoke with Management and felt like I was beingheard. They even have a happy hour!!! I have already recommended this place to several people. I can?t wait to go back to getme a Pain Killer on the happy hour and sit by the water to eat and have conversations. This was my first time at this restaurant and I had been wanting to go because I?ve heard a lot about the location. It was the... perfect day to be here because it wasn?t cold and luckily my party had fans for the heat. Our tables were partly covered fromthe sun with an umbrella and ultimately we ended up moving the table slightly to be more in the shade. Cons: - I honestlywasn?t a fan of my food. The crab dip I barely tasted any crab and from the picture you can see it was mostly cheese. I felt thepita bread was fresh but I wouldn?t order the crab dip again. I also had to send my burger back because when I but into it, itwas too pink for my liking. It appeared to be cooked medium and I should?ve let the server know but she also didn?t ask. Thesecond burger was cooked perfectly. Also I recommend putting the sauce on the side as it is very spicy. Based off my food aloneI don?t think I?d visit here again.
