Gotta say that the MISSISSIPPI POT ROAST taco was by far the best flavorful taco outta the 3 I got. The price of the food was... good for what it was but the other 2 tacos I had coulda had a bit more flavor to them. Over all was pretty good, I would comeback and get 3 Mississippi tacos again. My boyfriend & I loved soul taco! My favorite was the 7 layer taco, & the buttermilk chicken. My boyfriend liked the jerk... chicken. Kia had amazing customer service skills!! She was patient in explaining everything, & we will most definitely be back.Recommend!!! Read more
BEST TACO PLACE!!!! 7-layer dip taco is like a crunch wrap supreme ???? The sweet potato and black bean taco is... delicious. Catfish taco - yum! Enjoy!! Tip for Staff: Revise Refundable Food Rule. Its was nice cozy feeling restaurant with very limited seating. Casual dining for students and for a quick snack. People were... nice to talk to and were very knowledgable of their food. You order and play at the counter they will bring the food to yourtable when ready. We had to put our utensils back when done. Portions are very small. Read more
I really enjoyed stopping by this establishment. Small dining area, clean restroom, vibrant music and art on the walls. Friendly... staff and interesting food options. I had a buttermilk fried chicken taco and the flavors were amazing! I expected a largerserving but I realized after that I should have ordered multiple tacos to make a filling meal. I gave this place 5 stars for its uniqueness and vibe. The food came second to that in my opinion. I love tacos and I love soul... food so you know I had to try a whole bunch of different ones. Here is the order of how good they were from most favorite toleast favorite: 1. Fried Chicken Taco (100% recommend this if it?s your first time) 2. Catfish Taco (recommend this one too,it?s nearly identical to the fried chicken one, just with catfish instead) 3. Oxtail Taco (the meat was tender, but not asflavorful as I would have liked) 4. Jerk chicken taco (the chicken was dry and also not flavorful, it was lacking there) I alsowould recommend getting their limeade - it is fairly sweet so beware of that, but in my opinion it tastes really good.
