The space was beautiful and the service was friendly and prompt, however, we were underwhelmed with our sandwiches. We started... with the Pimento Cheese Fries, which were hot and cooked well. The Fillmore had a great flavor profile, but the fried eggplantwas so thin all of the other flavors overwhelmed what I wanted to be the star. The sweet potato waffle fries weren't hot andwere quite hard. The Truman also has a great flavor but was dry and the bun was completely dried out. The parmesan trufflefries were great. Atmosphere and service is wonderful. I don?t have enough words to describe how good the food is. I ordered a Raspberry Beret to... drink and the Van Buren as my meal. Both were fantastic. Great atmosphere with friendly service. Don't underestimate the size of the meals. We probably could have just split a single... sandwich after eating all the pimento fries. Waited on this place to open up for the day and man it?s delicious. I started with the French onion dip and chips, and the dip... is flavorful and a huge portion to share between two people. I had the bartender Austin order whatever was his favorite sandwichand bring it to me. The Roosevelt, a winner in my book, this sandwich is overflowing with roast beef and bacon. Make sure youorder the Parmesan Truffle Fries because they are on point. Covered in the right amount of oil, and a good portion of cheesemakes these the best thing on the menu?so far.
