Great food when they are open! However, for the last three times that we attempted to visit during business hours posted on... their website and google profile, it is CLOSED. I mean the business was pitch black dark as if they closed 1 - 2 hours before6pm and we got there at 5:15pm. Which sucks when you plan to have their food for dinner that evening. Please update the hours onthe website to avoid disappointing future patrons. Read more

I was not impressed by my first take out/visit to Salad Works. There was barely any cheese on my salad, the bacon was... completely raw and I had to pick it all off, the portion size was small, and I was just not impressed by the taste/appearance ofit. It was $12 plus tip etc. Lettuce is so cheap, so to pay this I want a good portion of what I ordered and cooked bacon. I'd rather go to Chopt instead, which was amazing Read more

I've been to this location and the now closed Short Pump location many times. I used to really enjoy coming here on my lunch... break. Let me also say that I've supported this restaurant all through the past two years when times weren't normal. I'vegotten carry out on multiple occasions, and I've also ordered a number of times from the food truck. Unfortunately since duringand after COVID I've just had way too many experiences where I've felt unwelcomed. There is always plenty of seating inside, but during my visit today during lunch there was not one person inside. In other recent visits the place has also beenbasically empty. The staff to me are the restaurant's biggest problem. They literally make customers feel like they are aburden as soon as you walk in the door. There is never anyone one working up front when you enter, instead they always come outfrom the back giving you the impression you've interrupted whatever they were just doing doing. Tik Tok maybe?? After youorder, while one person prepares your meal the other is already ringing you up at the register and hollering the total down theline to you while you are still in the process of your order with the other person. Today, as well as every other recent visit, instead of ever being asked if you're eating in or if you want your order to go, it just gets put in a bag in a to go container. Basically they're like "ok, here's your salad now please leave." That was not said obviously, just the vibe they give you. Iate my meal in the car, and honestly the ambience was better. Maybe it had to do with the fact that I'm not wearing a maskanymore, especially in a completely empty restaurant, that the masked, self-righteous woke staff feel the need to ostracize meevery time I come in there? Aren't we beyond that level ridiculousness? Regarding the food, it was ok, and I'll give the foodone extra star. I mean its hard to screw anything up if it has bacon on it...even a salad, right? I am, Read more

I really like this place. When I'm in the mood for good salad, I come here. They give ample portions and all their ingredients... and salads are fresh. Salads are prepared in front of the costumer. I haven't been disappointed yet. A little pricey but wellworth it. A clean, pleasant no thrills atmosphere. Parking can be a little tight and limited around lunch time. Read more

This is a perfect example of why I should always read reviews before visiting a restaurant. I echo the one star ratings from... most recent reviews. I paid over $10 for a side salad with a great deal of wilted, soggy lettuce. I left hungry and angry. Oh,and with diarrhea. Read more

One of the rare Saladworks in the Richmond area. This one did a pretty good job for us. Really like the salads. Just be sure to... keep their tendency to pour too much (in my opinion) dressing on to your salad. And I suppose I wish they'd toss theingredients together in a big bowl before serving, rather than just combine with tongs. A bowl is what they used at otherlocations for us. Read more

While the toppings variety seemed ok, the portion sizes were absolutely abysmal. The serving ended up being about as large as a... side salad you'd get at most places. Next time, I'll opt for Chopt or something Read more
