Cute little place- my ideal type of place to eat for a nice meal, especially visiting a new city. They didn’t have any tables,... but we sat at the bar, which is good for us. I got the eggplant hero which was great. My partner got the salmon crudo, shrimptoast, and burrata. He said it was all good, especially the freshness of the crudo. Pretty good wine selection, could have moreby the glass. I got the olive oil washed cocktail and it was okay. The service was a bit weird, but we were at the bar, soit’s okay. Read more

A great spot for a delicious triple birthday dinner! We ordered a variety of small plates -- foie gras, melon salad, beef... tartare and (not pictured) corn salad and burrata -- and the smash burger and everything was stellar. The service wasgreat...the cocktails were fabulous...even the bathroom was a fun experience with assorted temporary tattoos to mark theoccasion. I look forward to visiting again soon and trying more of the menu! Read more

Cannot say enough good things about this spot! The restaurant itself is small but allows for such a great personal experience... from the warm and caring staff. We ordered a couple cocktails which came beautifully adorned with fresh seasonal flowers andfresh garnishments. The food was fantastic and included fresh vegetables (the fresh tomatoes were wonderful) that beautifullyaccentuated every dish we were served. We sat at the bar and were very well taken care of. Me and my husband both felt very welltaken care of and would definitely come back and recommend this spot for a nice, intimate dinner. Read more

Overall a great experience and the food was AMAZING. Had the oxtail sopes also but they were so good (and I was so hungry) that... I didn’t get a picture! Overall solid experience. Service was on point and she did a great job of communicating delays in thekitchen. Read more

We just had a very mixed experience at Saison. It was really a tale of two dinners/diners. If you asked my wife, she would say... she had one of the best meals of her life. Me? I left really disappointed after trying two poor entrees that were lacking inflavor or were otherwise poorly executed. First off, the cocktail and beer program at Saison is excellent. The cocktails wereincredibly well balanced and flavorful. The beer list was varied and impressive. The small plates were also very good. Thegnocchi were incredibly light and airy, and the entire dish was earthy, woody, and delicious. The sopes were incrediblyflavorful, but would have been better if the oxtail was served a bit warmer. The shaved brussels were surprisingly served rawand cold, but were still excellent, albeit a bit too spicy. The main course was where things took a turn. My wife loved herseared catfish and the leek bread pudding it was served on top of. But my coq au vin was legit awful. The chicken was dry, andnothing had that rich, bold, unctuous "braised for hours in red wine" flavor that coq au vin is famous for. Everything felt likeit was roasted independently and then topped in a wine sauce...which is NOT coq au vin. Our server, River, was amazing, andoffered to bring out a different entree. River suggested the steak frites, so I figured I'd give them a shot. Unfortunately, the steak was bland and completely under-seasoned. It also had no sear or char. I gave a small piece to my wife, who commentedthat it tasted like unseasoned roast beef. The frites were done in a poutine style, with a sauce and cheese curds.Unfortunately, the sauce was sour and off-putting. A demi-glase or brown gravy would have been so much better. My wife thenordered the paris-brest - a baked apple donut dish - for dessert. It was...meh? The actual dish was served cold...for reasons. It would have been so much better warm. It also could have used a scoop or ice cream or a creme anglaise to add some sweet Read more

Don't sleep on getting here soon. The setting is very quaint and you get a very personal touch. From the flowers to the water to... the plate setting this place is a must stop. Started off with Asparagus salad with a cashew butter that was amazingly freshand light. Steak tartar with b&b pickles and fresh Billy bread that was melt in your mouth. Finished off with Pork chop andRadicchio gratin with a mustard sauce that was deliciously cooked and very tasty. Has a very nice selection of spirits to choosefrom. This place will get packed and will have a difficult time getting a table so get in early and enjoy. Hopefully the fooddoesn't change too much but it will be a great food experience either way.
