Immediate seating and fast service; street parking available but watch the signs for duration. Food was flavorful, good... selection of drinks, very pleased the bartender stopped by the table to confirm types of liquor when making an off-menu drink. The menu does have vegan/vegetarian options but is more limited in selection than some others nearby. Will definitely visitagain. Read more

We for a work meeting and I had the hot honey chicken sandwich. I thought it would be “spicy “ hot but it was just hot in... temperature lol. Luckily they had hot sauce. A friend ordered it too. It was very yummy! They do add a lot of honey so if youdon’t like sticky fingers remember to ask for light on the honey! Overall pretty good sandwich and the fries were good too!! Iloved their ginger drink ????! Great upstairs patio and vibes Read more

This. Place. Here. O.M.G...... I don't remember what the name of my salad was but it's the one with Watermelon. It's probably... seasonal but if you get a chance please try it. There's a burst of flavor in every bite. We also had the wings, (Super yummy)fries ( they are very tiny and if cooked too long they're no good.) The vibes are really chill as we sat on the rooftop at thebar. The sauces are all home-made as well. It's a nice place to have a nice meal. ?? Read more

Did not enjoy this experience. One of the drinks was good, the other was not. The womens bathroom was gross and when I told the... person that worked there, they seemed to know and hadn’t done anything about it. The staff was nice at the end but they werevery slow to get anything for us. The rooftop was a nice aesthetic and I would probably return for that, just not the food orservice. You have to make a reservation before going there. They have gluten free options on the menu, too! Read more

A unique spot in RVA. The truffle fries and drink selection pared with the rooftop bar make this a favored hangout. TLDR: ... This place has a little something for everyone. The drinks are strong and the food has fun flavored twists. The truffle friesand scotch egg are highly recommended. Drinks: Cocktails are a spin on some of the classics. Wine on top of a Whiskey sour isan interesting one. Great craft beer choices as well. Food: Great takes on American style fair. Very slim chance you'll bedisappointed. The tendency is for rich and highly flavored foods. Not too much in terms of health here but tasty none theless. Atmosphere: There's a lot of fun flare and decor. Along with a rooftop bar. But things feel a little grimey and it'sno to classy in places. This is the places biggest downfall. Not a stopper by any means. Staff: Down to earth and welcoming. They are friendly and really chill. It keeps the relaxed vibe of the place going. If you're looking for special attention orcare, imthisbmay not be the place. We've always enjoyed our servers. Rooftop bar with plenty of indoor seating on those cold or rainy Richmond days. Upbeat music fills the air in this very friendly... space which includes two televisions and string lights illuminating the space. The Brussels sprouts (schwarma spice) weredelicious, fried and topped with a Tahiti vinaigrette. I thought the pomegranate seeds were going to be too sweet but theypaired perfectly with the salty sprouts. I got the Old Cody, which features Makers Mark, ginger syrup and bitters. It was simpleand appealing but it tasted watery and had very little else going for it. My fiancé got the Madame Rosemary GenevaPampelmousse, which rang out with a rosemary syrup along with the gin and grapefruit. It was extremely easy to drink but shefelt it could've used even more rosemary. Read more

I really enjoyed my Sunday Brunch experience at Postbellum. Chase the bartender was phenomenal! Didn't write down a thing and... still managed to keep 9 orders correct. The Sangria is Strong so be careful..the Shrimp and grits were very tasty but theportion was small for the price. However the blueberry pancakes was a great size. Read more

My family and I were recommended to come here and try out this establishment. And I have to give my honest opinion.. this place... was amazing!!!! Me, my mother and my sisters came there on a Saturday at about 2:30 so it was during their brunch hours. We weregreeted warmly by the lady at the front desk. She sat us down and gave us some refreshing glasses of water. (She turned out tobe the manager Angie) but never even introduced herself as that at first just had a beautiful humble spirit. We then had a newwaiter named Michael who I believe that has been working there for about two weeks. He was very knowledgeable and shared hisexperience of actually working where they get their fresh oysters from and now working I’m the restaurant now. Now to thereal reason your reading this review- THE FOOD!!! Delicious is an understatement, everything was so fresh. We all orderdifferent things so we could try a variety of things on the menu. Everyone was happy with their dishes. The manager Angie andour waiter Michael would come and check on our table periodically and make sure that we were good with our drinks or anythingthat we need it. Highlight for me- I had ordered the oysters not knowing they weren’t even available right now (duringbrunch) but Angie worked her magic and was able to bring us out some oysters for an appetizer and literally anyone and everyoneneeds to order these heaven sent fresh oysters! We walked around the restaurant just to get a look at it and we checked out thepatio and the upstairs rooftop deck and the private space this place is a beautiful establishment! It’s a welcoming fun, young, hip but also classy and welcoming to all ages. We are already planning our visit back during the dinner hours. Going topost some pictures for you guys to look at everything we got (which again was sooo good) and also just want to give a big thankyou to the manager Angie and the waiter Michael and even the head chef that stopped by and said something to us as Read more
