We loved this place! The brisket was so tender and moist. We also got pulled pork, the fried fish sandwich, fries, Mac and... cheese, and cold slaw. Just overall loved. Got a couple beers on tap. I was excited to try this Black-owned BBQ. I ordered via GrubHub, which I shouldn't have done because the delivery was late and... the food was just lukewarm by the time I got it. While I can't complain about the portion size of the sides, I wasn't too happywith the portion size of the brisket entree. The brisket was tender. The macaroni was on point. We’d been wanting to visit for some time now. I’ll jump straight to it. The food They didn’t have -Lemonade -Mac &... Cheese -Boiled eggs I initially ordered a house salad with boiled egg and we ordered chicken sliders. The chicken sliders weregreat. The house salad not so much. The lettuce was brown. They also didn’t tell me until they were out of boiled eggs untilthe salad was brought to the table. I ordered the beef brisket with potato salad & collards. He ordered ribs with baked beans &corn bread. The beef brisket was extremely moist, tender but not well seasoned. But still good with bbq sauce. The potato saladwas more salad than potatoes almost tasted as if it was too much mayo & mustard mix in which you couldn’t really taste any ofthe other ingredients such as the potatoes & eggs. The cornbread taste more like cake muffins with cornbread flavor. They arevery fluffy like cake. But still pretty good. The baked beans were pretty good & the collards did well.
