Really appreciate this comfortable neighborhood joint. Some reviews refer to it as a "dive bar," but I don't think that's quite... fair?it's cleaner and more comfortable than a dive, and the food is genuinely good. This review is for the pub in the basement. I have come to PH 4 times and can say that it is one of the funkiest bars in... Richmond. The food and beer are great, but I come for the ambience. When I sit down, I feel like I'm in the same booth thatPatrick Henry sat in to write his speech. At the bar, I can tell that I'm sitting next to neighbors rather than strangers.
