APPROVED. I am an ole school cook of 20 plus years. My go to Treat Sandwich is Fried Bologna Sandwich or Biscuit with... Egg....You all get my 5 Star Vote....First of all Fries are on point. I am a delivery driver and I deliver a lot of orders from here. The people working are always cheerful and happy. They always... make sure I stay hydrated which I appreciate. Their sweet tea is the best! I was lucky to have an order canceled and I was ableto keep the food which was a steak sub and mac and cheese. Man they hit the spot and definitely recommended this localrestaurant. If I lived closer I would visit as a normal patron but alas I live across town. So sad I moved to the opposite side of town of Ms. Girlees because their steak n cheese is the truth! It?s not your traditional... one with lettuce and tomato, it?s more like something you?d get from the fair! 20/10 I miss their old fries that had theseasoned coating but most places change out fries. I always have to have american cheese and/or cheese whiz on my cheesesteak but I tried it with provolone this time, which is how... this place makes it. I didn't really care for the provolone but everything else was good. Read more
Well damn! I don't know where to start! The food was amazing! It's a steal for the price you pay! Their burgers are massive! The... customer service makes you feel like your grandma is the one cooking for you. The atmosphere and music are phenomenal. I woulddefinitely recommend to eat here. Read more

Today is Sunday, and I felt like some home cooking so I decided to visit Ms. Girlee's. Cute little spot. I was greeted... immediately, and given some suggestions on what was good by the owner-crab cakes no fillers, potato salad-grandmother's recipe,and the shush puppies with shrimp named by the owner. The owner suggested the seafood combo, and she did not disappoint on hersuggestion or with the amount of fried shrimp(5), two pieces of whiting, and nice size crab cake!! The shrimp were seasonedperfectly, and fried even better, the fish was tasty, light and not over seasoned, nor weighed down by old frying grease. Thecrab cake was one of the better ones I've tasted in a long time. I was not overly impressed by the shush puppies; tasted likeall the other I have tried. Now to the sides starting with the potato salad, it was ok, Mac and cheese was a little bland Ifelt like it needed some salt and pepper, but the winner of the sides.... those GREENS...boy did they hit the spot, and wereright on time!!! Not a bad Sunday fair, but it was slightly more costly then I would have liked. I would have given a 4 star butI deducted one star for cost, and taste of some of the sides. Worth a try on another day, and maybe some friend chicken would bemy next option along with a slice of lemon cake. Read more
