Had a good meal. Three people had chicken and waffles they thought it was tasty. I just had chicken and potatoes....the... boneless fried chicken thigh was delicious but the potatoes needed salt and pepper and they were cold. Lulu’s is a challenge because you can’t decide whether to get sweet or savory. However, I have no regrets for the red velvet... waffles! The pecan butter really makes this dish. My husband had the lobster biscuit as well and loved it. His side order ofgrits needed a lot of salt, but overall great meal! Read more
Good place for brunch with a lively environment. Make sure you have reservations if you’re going there during the weekends.... Mimosas are very good except I wish they didn’t give us single use cups for mimosas. The fried chicken was super yummy withright amount of spices. Great service. Pro tip: while making reservations, ask for tables outdoor or in the main area inside therestaurant or else you will end up sitting in the alley near washrooms. Read more
Well I now have a new Breakfast/Brunch restaurant to go to when I'm in Richmond, Virginia! First let me start out by saying it's... a must that you go online and make a reservation. We waited 45 minutes to be seated but that was not a problem for me because Iknew what yummy goodness awaited. Once we were seated we were greeted by a super awesome server named Rahsheedah! She was supernice and made us feel at home. She was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions pertaining to the drinks and themenu. After looking over the menu and placing our order our food came out in about 15 minutes or less. Everything was fixedexactly the way we ordered it. After tasting the food I knew right away that I wouldn't be taking anything home to go because Iwas going to eat everything because it was so delicious. I highly recommend Lulu's for their hospitality and delicious food! We're so happy that we chose them to host our engagement... brunch. Their events manager, Aaron, responded quickly to our questions and accommodated all of our requests. Lulu's provided aprivate room for our guests and Kenzie and Shelly took excellent care of our large party. Their chicken & red velvet waffles andmimosas were very popular with our guests.
