Tasty Southern eats in a classy environment. Our waiter, Craig, was attentive and prepared a delectable tableside bananas foster... flambé. Definitely left feeling full and satisfied, after enjoying the country ham ravioli, champagne julep, shrimp and grits, and dessert. Of all the dishes I enjoyed, the shrimp and grits ranked as the best; it was a large portion, well cooked, in adelicious sort of Cajun gravy. I would order it again! Definitely recommend reservations for a Saturday dinner, as therestaurant was full. Plenty of street parking on side streets nearby. Read more

The place was really nice. It?s the kind of place you can dress up or be causal. I got the duck and it was the best I?ve ever... had. While everything was great our server Dustin really made the experience amazing! He was so knowledgeable and suggesteditems that weren?t on the menu that were all fantastic! His personality was fantastic and made it a date night to remember. Wewill definitely be going back Read more

No idea how I?ve missed this gem. The absolute best food you will find in Richmond. Great service, great food, great atmosphere.... Our new favorite. Cocktails were superb. The reputation of their mint julep is well deserved. Not a bad cocktail on their menu.Jack of all trades and the passion fruit were our favorites. The fried green tomatoes were amazing. On par to what you?d findat Magnolias in Charleston, which are the best in the south. Deviled eggs were good, but my opinion, nothing special. I?ve hadeshrimp and grits all over the South, and none could compare to Juleps. One of the best meals I?ve had in my life. If I?m beingpicky, they should double the grits portion, there was plenty of shrimp and sauce, but I would have liked more grits. (That?sbeing picky) The pork chop was phenomenal as well. Some of the best collards in the city, combined with some potato?s andapples which were a great addition. Please some how save room for the bananas foster. Great dessert and great experience. Iwill recommend this place for a long time. Thank you Juleps for making our anniversary a special one. Read more

We came here for dinner on Saturday night. The place has great ambience. We had the pork chop and petite filet mignon for... dinner. The pork chop came with sliced apple, potato and some kind of spinach. We didn?t really care much of the spinach. Thepork chop itself was delicious. The filet mignon came with potato and Brussels sprouts and they all were delicious. We hadbanana foster for dessert, came with shortbread cookies and vanilla ice cream. It was delicious but nothing special. The drinkmenu was extensive and I enjoyed my drink. Parking can be tricky since you have to park on the street, but after 6 pm streetparking is free. Overall we enjoyed our experience at Julep?s. Read more

Cute little place, nice quiet atmosphere. Staff are friendly, but don't wear masks, if that matters to you. We had filet mignon... and the jumbo crab cake, and both were very good. The Brussels sprouts were undercooked, but that was the only complaint. Theflourless chocolate torte was delicious. On the pricey side, but worth it for a nice night out. Read more

I went here on a Thursday night. The bar attracts many people for drinks and the vibe who may not want dinner. There is a... significant cocktail and alcohol selection that is very well priced. Despite the white table cloths and high prices, therestaurant feels welcoming enough to walk into off the street. Service is very nice. The cornbread and butter was very good, ahighlight in my notes. I had the shrimp and grits the shrimp were nice and large and the grits had a delicious nubby qualitywith butter. The andouille sausage was nicely cut. I enjoyed the tomato based sauce that balanced the grits. I found the sauce alittle too smoky bordering on liquid smoke flavor that I tried to mask with grits. Others may love the high smoke flavor.
