This review is for City Dog's next door on Cary St. ???? Anyway, I've already had three different dogs here in the 5 weeks I've... lived downtown and each one was uniquely delicious. I have never ordered delivery from this location, but I have walked in 10+ times for a sandwich. Reasons why I would stop... by: (1) VERY consistent - my billy club tastes exactly the same every time. I've only been here once, and stopped by while driving through Virginia. It's in a pretty neat little nook of the city and the... aesthetics inside fit well with the street in my opinion. I think Jimmy John's subs are higher quality than other places, likeSubway, and taste much better. The bread is super crumbly though. The interior of the shop was definitely "cozy" and by that, Imean pretty small. But as long as it isn't super crowded, I'd be happy to stop and eat inside again. First time ever ordering there. We ordered 2 sandwiches. #11 with bacon & #12. We paid for bacon but got none. They said they... would redeliver another with bacon. Waited over an hour and still no replacement (they wanted the one without bacon back soleft it sit downstairs with security because they never showed after 1/2 hour). The #12 is supposed to come with avocado. Noteven a tiny bit of avocado was on it. That was the only reason I ordered the #12! The best they offered as compensation for awasted #11 was a 5 dollar credit. Great! The sandwich cost over $10 and had to be thrown out for sitting out so very longwaiting on a replacement that never came. I do not recommend this location!!! Read more
i placed an order over the phone for 3 sandwiches to be delivered around 12:30 am on a Saturday morning. Tammy the person who... took my order over the phone was very rude when she greeted me over the phone (nothing like the jimmy johns commercials we hearover the radio), none the less i gave her my order for the sandwiches and she repeated them back to me and everything wascorrect. when my sandwiches arrived only 1 was correct; 1 sandwich was made completely wrong missing all the extra ingredientsrequested (but was accurately documented on the receipt); and my last sandwich was not even in the bag all that was in there wasthe pickle and drink that was ordered. when i called the store back the person that answered the phone was quite nice andoffered to get me the manager(Thomas White). when the manager came on the line he was rude himself and did offer to exchange thesandwich that was wrong and then proceeded to accuse me of lying about the missing sandwich. after being accused of lying over asandwich he finally agreed to give me a credit on my next order (which i highly doubt ill see) it took them over 30 mins todeliver my sandwich. so please do not order from this jimmy john's the people here do not care anything about customer service,and apology who have sufficed for the rude and poor customer service showed here.
