Ever changing rotation of flavors at this cute little bakery. Staff are really nice and everything is top quality. Many vegan... and non-vegan options. I love the pasteis de nata and the lemon curd croissant thing. Good coffee too. Read more

Rip off. Go to Lidl you find better pastries! We spent $10 for two things = 1almond pastry and a empty pastry. They were no... tasting, mine was even salt that was weird for a croissant. They don't even have the prices out, which is illegal Read more

Better pastries than in Paris. They've cracked the code of "pâte feuilleté" or puff pastry and they've filled them with a... delightful combination of savory and sweet concoctions. If you want to know about "la belle vie" you should eat here. Read more

Super friendly, helpful staff. Stopped by to try the Vegan 72 special - orange chocolate whoppy pie - which was AMAZING! Picked... up a loaf of bread and have enjoyed that too. Wish it was easier to get to for car-driving non-locals, but the staff and amazinggoodies more than makes up for it. Will be back! Read more

Pretty good place to grab some pastries for the day, though they only open from Thursday - Sunday, and sold out very fast - like... literally need to come within an hour of when they open to make sure nothing is out of stock. You can order for pick up on theirwebsite to ensure your favorite pastry is not out of stock when you get there. My favorite is the kouign amann, covered in acrunchy caramel layer, and is flaky inside - almost like a croissant inside imo. The croissants and cruffin are pretty good, buthave a hint of sourness - I think this apply to all of their croissant-base pastries. Canele and pasteis de nata are okay. Read more

We checked out Idle Hands for breakfast and we loved it so much! It most definitely lives up to the hype! We got the Pumpkin... Danish, Vegan Blackberry Danish, Iced Pumpkin Chai, and Iced Chai. The danishes were so well made and nice and flakey! It wasevident that the bakers are very skilled and take their time to laminate the dough in order to create all of the lovely layers. The pumpkin danish was delicious and tasted like an elevated cheese danish. The vegan blackberry danish was also amazing and youcould not tell that it was vegan. Both of the pastries were not overly sweet, which made it perfect for breakfast. The pumpkinchai was good and had a nice spiced flavor, perfect for the fall!! Their chai is good, but definitely not my most favorite! Besure to go early so you have more options to choose from! They tend to sell out pretty quickly as well, so earlier they better! Read more

Easily ordered online. Order early for maximum selection. They sell out fast! If you ordered online, you can step to the front... of the line and grab your order just inside right next to the door. Orders are labeled with customer names on the bag(s). If youwant to order in person, you must wait in line, with one customer inside at a time to view and choose bakery items. All the welldone Covid precautions aside, Idle Hands has some of the best baked good around town! I love their pizza dough, fresh bread(sourdough, focaccia, and baguettes), pasteis de nata, and flaky croissants-- both savory and sweet. It is simply a must try RVAestablishment! Check their Instagram stories for updates before you go. Read more
