Beautiful ballroom dining room inside the historic John Marshall hotel. Tablecloths, nice linens, linen napkins, beautiful... tableware, and exceptional servers. If you're looking for a tea room or upscale lunch, this location delivers! We came for thequiche, which looked lovely on the menu and by the server's recommendation. The quiche as served is a non-traditional quiche,served more casserole style on top of arugula. It is very cheesy and does not have a solid egg consistency (maybeundercooked?). I Was A Loyal Customer That Use To Eat Over There All Of The Time Well That Time Has Ended As Of Today I Called For 10 Minutes... No One Picked Up So I Decided To Walk Across The Street To The Business From Work Once I Arrived I Waited Another 10 MinutesBefore Someone Came Out To Greet Me I Told The Gentleman What I Wanted Which Was Just A Chef Salad & Strawberry Lemonade TheGentleman Said It Would Be 15 Minutes Before My Food Would Be Ready Mind You It Was Only 1 Couple In The Dining Room Eating IWaited The 15 Minutes When The Gentleman Brought Out The Couple Food He Looked Over At Me And Said “It’s Gonna Be Another 10Minutes” That Was Pushing It But I Still Said Okay And As Of 1:45PM I Still Don’t Habe No Salad. I Stood There So Long TheSecurity Asked Me “Ma’am Have You Been Helped” I Told Him What Happened Also That I Was Leaving & He Said “I Don’tBlame You” Then I Called Back The Manager Answered The Phone And Said “ Ma’am We’re Short Staffed” Also “YouDidn’t Wait Long” How Can She Say That When I Called For 10 Minutes Waited Another 10 Minutes For Someone To Greet Me AndTake My Order And Another 25 Minutes For My Food That I Still Didn’t Get. I have used Homemades by Suzanne for catering in the past and was pleasantly surprised to have the chance to have it again. It... did not disappoint. They make the best box lunches in Richmond in my opinion and are great for catering. I chose the Tuna Salad,it came with a pasta salad, a deviled egg, a piece of chocolate and a slice of key lime pie. It was the perfect size and theperfect lunch for our group of Camp kids. The only thing I didnt see on the menu was a vegan option. I would like to seesomething like that next time, maybe a chick pea salad or a chick pea tuna with a fruit cup, and a dairy free pie.
