Burgers are hand made with no spices. You get to pick what you want added to your burger. That is good....everything you want... and nothing you don't. Now the bread is a different story. Bread choices would be nice, such as a kaiser roll, or wrap vs thesesame roll that crumbles while you are trying to keep the sandwich together. Read more

There was a taller male preparing sandwiches that seemed pretty ?focused? on the conversation between the cashier and me. This... focus continued even After my order was made and I asked how much for a cup of ice. He again intervened. I declined my offer tomake any further purchases. He seemed condescending in nature as he stared at me. The disrespect was taken out on my food as itwas Super sloppy from an overdose of mayonnaise. I could not eat the sandwich as it was so POORLY made. I now see how 5 Guys atVCU operates. Sloppily. And with the price set higher in the area, the All too forgotten Customer Service should make up for theextra charge. Or maybe, simply treat Others as you would want to be treated. My husband ordered food yesterday via Uber Eats, I wasn't hungry I only wanted a milkshake but it said they were unavailable.... His food looked so delicious I couldn't help but to munch on the fries and bite the burger. It tasted even better than itlooked. I enjoyed his food so much I decided to order the same thing tonight but with a larger side of fries. The food cameSUPER quick! Unfortunately it was GROSS. My fries were soggy as ever, the top bun of my burger was hard and the bottom was justas soggy as the fries. The fries were also very skimpy. My husband got way more fries in his small than I did in the regularsize. Five Guys is WAY too expensive to have this experience. I am from California, we didn't have a five guys for a long time here. I went to this one years ago and it was the first time I... had ever heard of it let alone try it. The burgers are very good but the fries on the other hand are not my cup of tea. For mostpeople they like the fires but I like the golden color fries, these are on the burnt side.
