I finally made it to First Watch for brunch while visiting Richmond VA this past weekend. First Watch is very popular in the... triangle, so I had to find out what the hype is all about. I really enjoyed the interior design of this location and the outdoorpatio dining space. I live for clean and modern restaurant interior design. Tuckahoe/Regency accomplished that. Service herewas excellent. Our food was very fresh and not overly salted or sweetened. We decided on the biscuit platter, lemon ricottapancakes, chicken sausage, cheese grits and the carrot cake and pecan pancakes. My friends had a fresh tonic and the cinnamontoast flavored cocktail. I had grapefruit juice, breakfast potatoes, cheese grits and the carrot cake pecan pancakes. Thepancakes are huge ! Bigger than your face big. You can easily share the pancakes amongst 3 people. Just have one. The grits hadthis beautiful top crust of cheese. Similar to macaroni and cheese. They were red mill grits which are more coarse than thesmooth grits you may be used to. I found the food affordable for the value. I will definitely visit again here in Raleigh. Read more

Dependable brunch quality. I had an omelette, Mom enjoyed steel cut oatmeal with bananas but felt a few dashes of salt were... needed. Loved a side of Bob's Red Mill cheese grits. Convenient location at Regency Square. Two brunch entrees, side and a kaletonic totaled about $30. Read more

Nice restaurant with great breakfast options.. they use fresh produce from farms. We loved their pumpkin spiced pancake and... waffle.. they have cold pressed orange juice and other fresh juice options.. when we couldn?t decide on a juice our serveroffered to give us a sample.. we had a great time.. a must try restaurant in Richmond..
