Reviews for Fire & Hops Pizza Co. in Richmond, VA
Customer service, atmosphere food and drinks all 5 stars. Sat in the bar area at a high-top for 2. Chris, wearing two hats on... this Tropical Depression Ian rainy and windy evening, did not disappoint. Thank you staff and local visiting patrons for a nicenight out with my bride of 30.5 years. We love finding places with exceptional food, drink, staff and local people... Fire andHops is on our list to frequent. I selected the $30-$50 per person because we did purchase alcohol to inlude a bottle of wine. If you just stick with water (why bother coming then) you could get away with about $20/person without apps. Read more

I'm going to give it 3 stars just because we liked half our order. The mozzarella sticks are good. The fries are great! The... desserts are decent. The pizza is awful. I have never had so much sugar in my pizza sauce! Just take the marinara that you usefor the mozzarella sticks and use that for the pizza. The pizza sauce is an abomination. Read more
First time visiting and was very pleased in the quality and taste value in food. Would recommend trying their in-house made... Cheese Sticks! The pizza ???? is more thin crust but cooked nice as crispy. Read more
Been coming here for years! Delicious food. After Richmond?s pizza boom, very few places stand strong. This is one of them. Rich... flavors Neapolitan style. The Spicy Goat and Bianca with potatoes and rosemary are my favorite pies! But the yummy doesn?t endwith the pizza. Solid pasta and tacos! The strawberry kale salad and beet and burrata salad are some of my favorite salads inRichmond. Oh and hands down they have the best mozzarella sticks I?ve ever had (and they are HUGE)! Also shout out to theamazing staff for always going above and beyond to make sure I?m taken care of. Oh and this place has one of the best patios inthe Carytown area :) Read more
Staff is great, ambiance is also pretty great?. The food and drinks? not so much. We ordered 2 blood orange margaritas and... chili calamari to start. First thing was they didn?t have calamari, no biggie we went with the guacamole and chips. Then 2 minslater our waiter comes out to tell us they didn?t get any blood orange mix in from the truck yet? so we went with regularmargaritas? slowly our entire order has changed entirely. We ordered 2 pizzas, which honestly doesn?t matter which ones we gotthey were both soggy and burnt at the same time. They weren?t anything special either, flavorless almost. The margaritas weresmall and sour, for 10$ I expected a bit larger of a glass. The chips and gauc were ok, guacamole was amazing but you don?t geta lot of it and the chips could?ve come from any supermarket in the area. Probably won?t be back unless we are super hungry andeven then I?d rather walk around the corner and grab something else Read more
One of the better gluten free pizza crusts I've tried in a while. Smaller restaurant, but overall atmosphere was cozy and... friendly. Great pizza! Read more
I used to visit this place back then when it was Stuzzy, years ago. I do remember that the Napolitan pizza options were super... delicious and very out of the ordinary. To my surprise, a couple of weeks ago on the last week of September 2022, I did not findthe pizzas as delicious as before and I think the dough was a bit bland. Now, I am fully aware of how Napolitan pizza issupposed to be. However, I was a little disappointed. Also, I feel like the marinara did not have a very good flavor. Cheesesticks were amazing, can?t go wrong there. Overall, it was not a bad experience. The setting is nice and I am glad that theyhave their own parking lot. Good drinks and good ambience. Not much to say about the pizza. Read more
