I am impressed! Service: Sierra was an amazing server: attentive, on the ball, remembered things, just nailed it. Food: the... cornbread was a tad cool and had more jalapeño than I needed - but I?m a bland guy. The fries were simply amazing - I was inawe! Hot, crispy, enough salt, and great flavor!! The Burger was great as well. The bacon was thick and juicy with greatflavor. And the salted caramel ice cream? Don?t read any farther, go get some!!! So am I capable of mentioning anything theycould improve on? You bet: the ice cream should be served in a frozen bowl. The warm bowl melted the bottom of my ice cream?just freeze the bowl. I?ve been dying to try this restaurant so to finally eat here was exciting but first let me back up a bit.. I rely heavy on... reviews yet never leave them so I made a profile just to leave this review. Everything was excellent from the food down to theservice and hospitality. It is a very cozy and intimate setting and with relaxing vibe. And the food.. I mean the roasted andfried chicken is the best we?ve had in a very long time! Everyone was super warm and welcoming especially our server Adrian.It?s not everyday you come across people with warm and refreshing energy so it was a breath of fresh air to meet him. We were here for VCU graduation and had a reservation for 8:45. I let the hostess know I would be waiting in the M club just... around the corner and was told to expect a text. At 9 I walked back to the hostess stand to find that someone had ?taken myreservation?. Not pleasant but okay, it was busy. Things happen. They did inform us as we were being seated that the kitchenwas backed up. Our waiter Adrian was extraordinary. We had a little one with us that was starving (as were we all!) and he gother chicken and fries out almost immediately. About an hour later and two cocktails in, we asked for some bread or something tohold us over since the kitchen was taking much longer than we expected. Got a bit of an attitude from the manager which wasunexpected and uncalled for. That was the worst part of the whole evening. Food was FABULOUS. Pork chop was a little undercooked but we had to take the leftovers home anyway and it warmed up beautifully. Both chicken plates were cooked perfectly andto die for. Salmon was moist and flavorful. Key Lime Pie, not pictured, was yummy! A bit pricey but great quality and niceatmosphere. Improve management attitude would have been appreciated, but we didn't let that ruin the celebration. Our experience at Fall Line was incredible. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the staff are all incredibly friendly. We went... with our friend from out of town and his daughter, and our waitress was Ravyn. She was very patient and accommodating with myfriend?s daughter. All of our food was delicious, and reminded us all of dishes you would get at a high end restaurant, but withvery affordable prices. We ordered the hush puppies, braised wagyu, pork chop, and baked chicken. I would highly recommend thisplace! Read more
Lanre, my server was incredible. Great service and better personality. The food here is IN-CREDIBLE. The oysters I started with... were probably some of the best I?ve had. So tender, yet firm, and incredibly fresh. Would order every time I come back. Thenthere?s the amazing belly on pork chop. YES it is all it?s cracked up to be.
