Superb. Though the diner was understaffed, those there were doing especially well. Service was understandably slow but the staff... was quite agreeable and friendly toward all requests. The food was up to the usual, excellent Denny standards. I recommendpatience and kindness in return for a good meal that you don't have to cook yourself. The return on that investment is worth it. Took my family in for brunch and had the best experience and service in a long time. Our waiter, Tamia, was patient, pleasant... and professional. Along with servicing my family, there were 7 other guest she efficiently and effectively served. Might I add,she was also busting ALL the tables in between serving everyone. What made this experience even better was the clean atmosphereand the food! The cook, Amaris, (hope I spelled that right) made magic back there and we greatly appreciate it. On the way out,we met the new store manager and district manager. They also mentioned how awesome Tamia is. I really hope those words turn intoan extra monetary compensation for these ladies because they made the difference! Read more

I went at about 11 at night to just cool down by myself after work, and the waitress was so sweet and took my order quickly and... i got my food 15 mins later and the mozzarella sticks were fresh and tasty! She even gave me dipping sauces without me askingfor them. One of my best experiences with a Dennys. Read more

I love Denny?s more than I like IHOP. I believe Denny?s gives more food for the price you would pay at IHOP. I always get the... lumberjack slam and strawberry lemonade and I always walk out super full. This location on Midlothian is pretty good. I neverhad any complaints, my food always comes out hot, and my servers are always pleasant. Read more

So, it's a Denny's, but it's probably the best Denny's I've been to. The highlight was service by Ashli, who is obviously way... overqualified to work here (no offense to Denny's). She took excellent care of us. The food took awhile but we were in nohurry. Spicy skillet was actually quite good. Mac and cheese, turkey club were pretty OK. Of course we'll be back. Read more

Is there a ZERO star??? I think I've just had the worst experience of my restaurant history! We went here because I was... determined to have breakfast, and it was noon time, and although there were other places in the vicinity like IHOP and WaffleHouse, Denny's was the closest. For it to be lunchtime, the place was not busy at all..we were surprised. We were sat and ourorders were taken. I ordered the Grand Slam Slugger and my friend, the Philly Cheesesteak Omelette. I added an extra egg to myorder, and wanted my eggs cooked medium well, making sure that the whites were set. I ordered my hash browns with onion andcheese and I wanted them well done, crispy. First of all, I had ran out of my first cup of coffee before the order even came. Ihad to ask for a refill twice before I could get my second cup. My friend had to ask for a straw, and later had to ask for extranapkins. When the food came, one of the eggs was over light instead of medium. It almost made me sick when I cut into it and allof the liquid rawness spread all over the plate. So I pointed it out to the waitress and asked if I could get it corrected.Since my hash browns were not well done, I asked if I could get them cooked crispier too. While sitting there waiting for myeggs to be prepared, I ate my two sausage links, and my one slice of bacon... the menu says there are two slices of bacon...andlater, the waitress returned with another set of hash browns, and one egg over medium to add to the two cold eggs that hadalready been sitting there for about 10-15 minutes... the order of eggs and hash browns (not crispy) came on a smaller platewhich I then had to cram the other two cold eggs on... did I mention that I asked for extra butter for the original pancakes, the butter came AFTER the second set ofeggs?...so I'll say I got the butter about 18 minutes after our original order wasreceived... and no, I don't eat cold pancakes. Another addition... I NEVER received the orange juice that was supposed Read more
