Well, we arrive and the place is pretty much empty. It was VERY CLEAN, loved the music playing, and the food was GREAT, with... generous portions. I loved that. They got two stars because once inside and listening to the customers and my waiter, I feltlike I was in the ghetto. Who seats customers without some type of eating utensils? We ordered shrimp, French fries, cold slaw,and calamari. I never use my fingers to eat, unless I am only eating crabs. We had to ask for eating utensils, and they give youthese small containers of dipping sauce. I spent 50 plus dollars, I feel I should have gotten better service and I still don'tknow why we got separate tickets when I said we were together. I loved the food. But, the service has a lot left to be desired.I would eat in a Crafty Crab again but not at the Richmond South location. Read more
The service was awesome! I have the fried shrimp dinner. The batter was superb! And the corn on the cob had a taste that was so... good I was in haven. There was a DJ who came around to the table and interacted with everyone. We danced and had a wonderfultime. Definitely will go again! Read more
We were visiting from out of town and saw the building and decided to get seafood. The outside of this restaurant did not justly... reflect the quality of the food served at this resturant. All of our food was cooked to perfection. I?m gonna have to come backto Richmond?s Southside just to eat here again in the near future. Well done. Read more
Out of the 3 Crafty Crab establishments I?ve visited this one would have to be the cleanest and most efficient. We arrived at a... time that wasn?t too busy and we served promptly. Literally after giving Lanicia our order food was brought to our table in 3-5minutes. She was very courteous and ensured we were satisfied. Coming here on a Friday was awesome because there was a DJ and hewas actually good. Will we return? Absolutely. Read more
Glenda was the best!! This was my entire family first time here and we absolutely loved it!!! Just like the other reviews would... not expect this in this location. But once inside it?s like you?ve been transported to a new place. Food amazing. Drinksamazing. Atmosphere amazing. We will definitely be coming back here again. The food was amazing, and the service was phenomenal! When you visit, if you can, see if you can get Kim as your server (on the... weekends). You WONT be disappointed! Not to mention, the drinks are like that too! All for a great price!!!! Read more
This place doesn?t look like much from the road. It?s in a shopping plaza. Inside, the decor is clean and colorful. The tables... are covered in brown paper with a roll of paper towels and wastebaskets are provided for the shells. Service was quick andefficient, the beer was very cold, and the boil we ordered came rapidly. Everything was absolutely delicious. We got thedungeness daily special, shared it for lunch.
