Got some takeout! We had eaten here once before and absolutely loved their Margherita Pizza. This time we went with Fettuccine... Alfredo & their Salmon Pizza. Creamiest Fettuccine we have ever had! Would order this again for sure. The Salmon Pizza tooksome getting used too. I didn't taste the capers, and it was a little too salty. Still good though! And filling. Will beback to try more of the menu. ? Read more
A common, American style Italian bistro with the same menu you typically find at this sort of establishment. You'll need to... make reservations over the phone if going during busy times. TLDR: If you like Carbonara, this is a solid choice. The best inRVA for me so far. But the rest of the food we had is rather dull, but at least it's lower in price for this part oftown. Drinks: Nothing special here. Normal selections with little to no craft beers or micro brews. Mixed drinks are OK butnothing you get excited about. Food: The Carbonara was suuuuper good. Tons of cheeses, bacon and flavor. Loved it. Whitepizza, was basically just cheesy bread that's slightly burnt. Very disappointing. The other pasta dishes didn't seem to beparticularly amazing. But no one said they were offended by it. Atmosphere: Kind of lacking here. Just a mediocrebar/Italian eatery. Fairly loud, full of pretentious Short Pumpers. Staff: Mixed bag. Our server was absent a fair amount oftime. Others leaned in to help. But not super happy with it. Read more

Stopped here for the first time after picking my son up from preschool. They were pretty full except for the bar and a couple of... tables. The waitress was slammed but the owner/chef waved motioned us to sit anywhere from the kitchen. He apologized and tookour order. My wife ordered a gluten free pepperoni pizza w/mushrooms and peppers. I got the steak and cheese w/a side of friesfor my son. The s&c was juicy and flavorful. Her pizza was very tasty and a great crust unlike other GF pizzas she's had. TheStone IPA was cold, hitting the spot with the steak. We will surely make this a weekly stop after being impressed with theirservice, food, and ambiance. Read more

The food can be hit or miss. The bartender is not very attentive. You almost have to follow them just to get them to... acknowledge you at the to go counter. Two out of the three pizza?s I ordered were burned black on the bottom. Tasted like mud. This isn?t the largest diner either. The absolute first time I was here to dine in, a drunk man nearly fell on our table. Don?t expect to be seated right away, their staff is sometimes preoccupied. Read more
