During lunch on 9/30/2022, I experienced horrible behavior by one single person. Rest of the crew were absolutely fine. This... person had no sense of customer service, in face she used 4 letter words. I was in the middle of my order, another customer hadsome issue of getting incorrect order or something. So this lady came from Kitchen area, what I noticed start working on thatorder, while I was waiting, with 85 old father in law. After they were done, once I mentioned it, she started going ballistic.Used profanity, warning me that I should say anything to them as they are serving me food. This location is alright but for some reason their breadsticks aren't the same yummy taste as the other Captain Ds in the... city. It's so weird. Then they have a 'To Go' area with sign but no one is ever over there. Would be nice if they used thatlittle area for to go orders. It would help the flow. Because that little bench at the register only holds 3 people comfortably. Read more
My order was not a good experience. I haven't been here for years. The pictures of the menu items do not match what you... actually get. The fish looks like it is not hand breaded. The potion for a filet fish looks live a fish stick. The fried shrimphad...no taste. Mac and cheese cold as ice. I had the 2-piece fish dinner with fries and coleslaw. It was DELICIOUS! The fish and fries were piping hot (just like I like... them). The dining room was very clean and the staff were very friendly. It was a very pleasant experience. Keep up the goodwork! Read more
It's been several months since we purchased Captain D's so we went again. To my disappointment they have taken out the... drive-thru. Went inside to Order, we ordered the family 10 piece fish with fries and green beans with add on of 2 orders ofshrimp. Fish was good but fries we're not cooked the green beans were absolutely ice cold, they were in a styrofoam containerand I only live a mile and a half away so there's no way that they could have gotten cold by the time I left there and got homethey were absolutely cold but all in all the fish was good the hush puppies are good and the shrimp was good but it was a verydisappointing experience this time around. So unfortunately I have to take it back down to two stars. The new drive thru wasvery fast and efficient. Read more
The food was okay. Went inside and the dining area was open to the public. Wasn't very many people in the line. The butterfly... shrimp were fairly small, French fries do not get seasoned, the batter dipped fish was juicy, lobster bites were saltier thanpreferred, and hush puppies were a little dry, the full size corn was juicy. The cocktail sauce tastes disgusting and tartarsauce was alright. THIS WAS MY FIRST TIME TRYING CAPTIN D'S. The people working the counter were really nice as well. Theyshould update their website so we can order online and pick it up at the restaurant. Would make it sooooo much easier. Triedordering it on the phone but the person never came back on the line.
