Food was good. We each got what we ordered the way we ordered. They were crowded but made room for us (partly in a walk way). ... So, not ideal but much appreciated. The Good: - Friendly staff. The ladies there are such a lovely people. Our waitress was not the friendliest but not terrible. -... Salad was decent. It was fresh and didn?t have old looking stuff. - The garlic knots were tasty and fresh. Recommendation tothe cook would be to make them large and serve like 6 pieces instead. The Not So Good: - The dinner entree. Wife got thechicken Carinese and I got the chicken marsala. My dish had way too much mushrooms and and I am pretty sure the mushrooms werecanned and not fresh. I sauté fresh mushrooms all the time?these are not fresh. The veggies in the carinese were not fresheither. Looks like something from the frozen section at Food Lion. Chicken pieces were tiny. Imagine cutting one chickenbreast in half, than cut it again to thin it, than pounding it down to make it look a bit bigger?so it?s like you get half achicken breast. Taste was bland like they watered down the sauce and not much substance. Add all that together for a $19.75dish?not worth it. My daughter got plain pasta with butter and sausage on the side?sausage looked dried and been sitting undera heater? I was really surprised at how tasty this place was. The eggplant parm sub was delicious and I will be back when I?m in south... side. The price was cheap, the food and service were excellent. Glad I had friends who knew the area otherwise I would havemissed this gem. Read more

A great local stop for lunch or dinner. It's what you'd expect for a local Italian restaurant that's not fancy by any means and... much more close to a diner (no disrespect) the Italian food hits all the notes and is delicious and the no frills restaurant. The food was good. Customer service was wonderful. My daughter left her retainers????. We didn't notice until hours later. We... called the restaurant and the waitress had found them and put them away knowing that they were expensive and we would come backlooking for them. I ordered a refillable drink and changed my drink 3 times with another refillable drink. Then was charged 3 separate times... because I changed the drink.. brought it up to the manager where he came over to my table where I had my son with an angryattitude trying to belittle me.
