This restaurant serves up a fantastic culinary experience equipped with both unique flavors and fine experiences. TLDR: It?s... difficult to say what you should order. The menu changes (oh so eloquently), but trust in your servers expertise. The cocktailmenu and bar are on point. Check this place out for your next night out. $300 for fondue, 4 entrees, a bottle of wine, 3drinks, 2 desserts, and 2 espresso. Appetizers: Plenty of seafood options but we went with the fondue. I very fun, and tastycheese dish with excellent dipping options. Dipping the smoked prosciutto was my personal favorite. Entrees: The menu herechanges to keep things fresh. The burger stays constant and I tried it. Super savory and topped with fondue cheese and crispysmoked meat. Others had the flounder, pork ravioli, and crab risotto. Personally the flounder with dill crème wine out forme. The chef here really knows what they are doing. Drinks: Fantastic wine list. Things you won?t see elsewhere are here. They either have an in house sommelier or consult with a unique wine supplier. Cocktails are perfectly mixed and served withcut ice. Dessert: We tried the crème brûlée with fresh peaches along with the honeydew sorbet. Fresh blacked peaches mixedwith the crème was sooooo good. I asked they put a candle in my espresso (it was my birthday) and as a fantastic joke theygave me a tiny 1? cake with a candle. Hilarious! Atmosphere: Clean, fresh, and well appointed. You won?t be disappointed inthis take on a lovely evening. Real candles provide ambience along with modern but comfortable seating. Staff: If I could putthis staff in every restaurant I would never be unsatisfied with my experience. I hope they make a TED talk. Appetizers Read more

Overall, the experience at Brenner Pass was stellar. The staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable and they were wonderful at... recommending dishes. The interior was gorgeous and modern (especially the bar) with earth tones, greys, and light wood. It'salso very spacious inside so at no point do you feel cramped or uncomfortable. The cocktails we ordered were the Coy Mistress,Wasenhorn: From Ashes and Some Kind of Wonderful. The Some Kind of Wonderful cocktail was the star of the show for me becausethe clarified milk punch felt like drinking velvet and tasted almost like the best lemon bar you've ever had with a hint ofdill. For dinner we had the focaccia, fried oysters, tartiflette, asparagus risotto and nettle agnolotti. Everything was prettymuch mind blowing but I will say we were both slightly let down by the risotto. I think the flavor was supposed to be quitedelicate and subtle, but the contrast against the other dishes which were jam packed with flavor made it seem a bitunderwhelming but still very good! The tartiflette made me think of childhood, as well as the urge to go camping and do somecast iron cooking over a fire, basically it was the best cheesy potato gratin I've ever had. The fried oysters were perfection, especially the base of roasted onion aioli. We wanted to fit in some dessert but just didn't have any room left. I can't wait tovisit Brenner Pass again and I look forward to their seasonal menu changes. Read more

This is a great special date night place. I love the small plates but save some room for the entrées. The Tartiflette was... amazing. Thinly sliced potatos in a cast iron dish. Creamy and the bacon comes thru nicely. Wife ordered the duck. I don'tlike duck that much but i would definitely order this dish. Tender, well seasoned and not too gamey. I had the Pork Loin. OMG. The fingerling potatoes were to die for. Barely had any room for dessert. I would love to sit at the bar next time. Read more

The hostess was kind and prompt to greet us upon arrival. Our server, David was great at suggesting and explaining the dishes.... Our food was delicious. Our only complaint is the wait time for both drinks and food. It was far too long even for a busyweeknight although there were plenty of open tables. I think I may give this place a try again but I hope the service is not asslow next time. Read more

My go to fine dining establishment in Richmond. They always knock it out of the park, from the atmosphere and drinks to the... service and food! We went to celebrate my new job. ???? Again, the food was absolutely fantastic! I especially loved the vealwith the citrus herb gremolata on top; steak was fall off the bone tender and the surrounding gravy flavorful. The chicken livermousse appetizer was a bit smoky for my tastes but beautifully plated and interesting. Be sure to snag a reservation inadvance, as they fill up fast-- even on weekdays! Read more
