Rich, flavorful food and nice, informative staff! I got the Greek Wedding Mac and Cheese and would have a hard time choosing... between getting it again and trying a different item next time. Will definitely be returning and telling friends. Very excitedto see what the future holds for the permanent building. I also appreciated the environmentally conscious packaging and artistictouches. SUCH A GOOD PLACE. Best mac n cheese I have had in Richmond, hands down. Great service even better food. They have a wonderful... selection to choose from with a lot of variety in flavors witch salads and cookies too. Owner said there?s more to come soon andmaybe vegan options too. Cant wait for them to open up the shop, but the food truck works perfectly. I got the Buffalo Mac and Icant wait to try the rest of the flavors. I truly recommend this place. Read more

Hands down the best mac n cheese I\'ve ever had anywhere!\n\nMy taste buds were still singing 30 minutes after eating the Mac... Lorraine. A masterpiece of culinary perfection consisting of Applewood smoked bacon, fresh scallions and gruyere cheese.\n\nTheteenagers with us raved about the Classic Mac and the owner went out of his way to make us feel welcome and appreciated.\n\nWeleft feeling like we were part of the family and we will definitely be back soon.\n\nIt\'s hard to make this kind of impressionin a foodie city, filled with so many great restaurants, especially when your customers are veterans of the restaurant industrywith 50 years combined experience, but Big Wife\'s Mac and Cheese is a standout in every way. You won\'t be disappointed! My son and I decided to get takeout and both got the Mac Lorraine. It was AHHHMAZING!!! Every... mouthful we ate brought out moans of delight. BigWifes has taken mac&cheese to the next level and made it a gourmet treasure. Creamy, tasty and oh so delicious. The service was very friendly and the food was beautifully packaged. We got married on National Mac and Cheese day. We collect mac and cheesecookbooks, and try our hand at cooking fancy mac and cheeses. And we occasionally go on road-trips, specifically to try out macand cheese restaurants in other states. It may seem a little cheesy (haha) but it\'s a pretty fun way to experience how otherpeople interpret a deceptively simple dish while visiting new states.\n\nWe had the good fortune to try out BigWife\'s Mac n\'Cheese on their first day of business. While their brick-and-mortar location wasn\'t fully ready, they had a food truck parkedoutside, preparing their dishes. Each one was expertly done! The Classic Mac was practically a love letter to White Cheddar. Thenoodles were cooked perfectly, and the sauce was thick, and creamy, and beautifully cheesy. The Mac Lorraine had delightfulchunks of bacon in there, with a Gruyère cheese sauce that perfectly complemented the bacon, and the mixed-in scallionsimparted a subtly oniony bite that cut the richness of the rest of the dish.\n\nSome places make Mac and Cheese, because it\'s asimple dish to do an adequate job with.
