Reviews for Yai's Thai Kitchen in Richmond, TX
The service is not good. Didn?t get any napkins or silverware. The Tom Kha was like no other that I?ve ever tasted in a bad way,... it was sour and tasted really bad. I sent it back. I will most likely not be attending this restaurant again. Read more
Lack of Quality and Cleanliness. The curry was watery with excess salt.. the cutlery (like spoon, etc), had sticky... residue. There are so many Thai restaurants around like ginger Thai, Thai gourmet that are much better and cheaper as well.. Iam sorry, I will def not visit again.. Read more
We ordered vegetarian food and got food items with chicken. Moreover the noodles as well as spring rolls were completely... tasteless. We had to unfortunately trash all the food. Owner - pls contact us. Read more
Great food and attentive server! Albeit when I went for lunch it was not as busy. Great service nonetheless and my first time... trying Thai food. You can expect some good food! ???? Read more
should have been better. the restaurant was nice, the staff was nice, the food was plated beautifully, the seasoning in the food... was good, but all the meat was overcooked and dry. the restaurant had a help wanted sign and when I looked in the kitchen, whichis open so you can see them working, it looked like there was only one person there. hopefully it's just a staffing issue in thekitchen that can be fixed. if not then the food, simply because of the meat, wasn't worth the price. This was my 1st time here. I liked the inside of the restaurant. It was decorated nicely and the artwork is hand painted by an... artist. The service there was also very good. Okay for the food: we ordered Tom Yum Shrimp, minced pork, pad Thai, and greencurry. The Tom Yum wasn?t that good. It lacked the sweetness and flavor that I was accustomed to. The minced pork was decent. The pad Thai was okay. The green curry was okay but a little runny. Overall this place was okay. If you?ve never had Thai foodit?s decent. I?ve had better so I?d probably not return. Read more
I gave them two chance last week and both were fails. Portions are SMALL (actually tiny) for the price you pay. Crispy chicken... dishes are basically chicken tenders with sauce on them and the Pad Thai chicken dish had (yes I counted them) 4 small piece ofsliced chicken in it. Don't waste your time with this severly overpriced (for what you get), small portion, not authentic"Thai" restaurant. Read more
