This was our Italian go-to venue but we have been noticing lately that the entrees and salads are bland; plus the place is short... on staff, with only 1 waiter and 1 cook. Our waiter was courteous and bilingual; and offered to change my plate when I told himI didn't like it; I just didn't want to take a chance. Had a very bad experience today at Russo's. First of all, the pizza seemed to have finger marks on the back end of it (see... picture attached). Secondly, the server said they would substitute the tomatos on the pizza for another topping of my choice yetcharged me for it. Will not be going back. - Hey owner, we don't want anything from you. we just wanted to inform you incaseemployees are not taking care of customers so you can improve service and see repeat traffic. Absolutely recommend. Lot of veggie options; great food, great service; great flavour. Have now come here more than 5 times and... the taste has been the same each time. Great for family outing, couples and even to celebrate something special. Read more

The staff are really nice but the pizza was underwhelming for the price we ordered 2 pizzas one with the works plus extra... jalapeño but got only 7 little pieces for 3 dollars. It was also extremely greasy. Read more

Overall a poor experience. Would not recommend.... Food was ok. Service was ok. Manager was rude beyond belief. They made a... mistake ringing in an adult portion of Fettuccine Alfredo instead of a kids meal for my 10 year old daughter (oh AND it was kidseat free Tuesday according to the sign on their wall, didn't know that until we arrived). Instead of apologizing and adjustingthe bill, they said "there's nothing we can do.... tell the lady she can have 10% off, that's it" (All in Spanish, rude andloud, not expecting my born and raised Mexican wife to completely understand). She responded directly to the guy in the backand he still wouldn't do a thing.... Even though it was THEIR MISTAKE! I was blown away that this all transpired between tablein the dinning room and the guy cooking.... Probably one of the most smug "managers" (if that's what he was, he was cooking andthe two servers were looking to him for answers) I've ever encountered in my life.... I plan to call and speak with someonehigher up the chain about this guy since he obviously does't care about customer service or return guests. We will not bereturning and will also be telling all of our friends about this horrible experience. $2 for 4 small pieces of house bread, really(see photo)? How did this happen? When I asked the guy who checked me out, his... attitude was that the lady in back said so. With no care to resolve a customers concern. I really felt this was a poor attitudetowards take-out order. There simply has to be better training or at least be courteous to a repeat customer who just found outthe lady gives 4 pieces of bread now. I am sad to say that I have lost respect for this place, they will not get my businessanymore. Edit: same day, 8:44pm: manager called and apologized on behalf of their employees behavior. The services was amazing!! And the soup was delicious!! The broth had the taste like it was cooking for 16+ hours. All and all... it felt like I was back home. At a high class restaurant. Amazing atmosphere!!. Read more
