Wow, my family and I were floored by the flavor!! Everything was delicious, One Love Tropical Cafe did not disappoint! It's... authentic, comfort food from the Diaspora. We ordered Oxtails, Coconut Curry Shrimp, Brown Stewed Chicken, homemade BeefPatties, yams, Jollof Rice, etc... and it all tasted like it came from my Nana's kitchen! I was able to try this place today. I will never be back. The jerk chicken is not jerked. It is simply brown stew. The candied... yams aren't good either, I have had authentic Jamaican food before, and this place was just American food. Read more

This place is a nice find for our area. The restaurant was clean and the service was good. While it was slow dine in, the take... outbwas popping. The food was good, I ordered the jerk pork. and my wife ordered the jerk chicken. Both meals were large sizeportions. The chicken a tad dry, but overall was good. the Jerk pork was tender, moist, and delicious. We also ordered the beefpatties, very delicious! The brown stew and curry chicken are AMAZING, well worth the money and the portion size is decent. I've also tried the patties... and they are not bad but for the first time I got a side of Macaroni for $3.99 and was highly disappointed ????. It was hard onthe surface and had little to no cheese flavor or salt. It seemed old, please make this better!! Read more
The chicken and beef patties had great flavor and just enough spice to it and they came out super flaky. Got the curry chicken... which tasted just like in the Caribbean also get the cabbage flavored just right. We wanted to try the suya but they didn'thave it. The jerk wings also were amazing in flavor ask for the scotch bonnet to dip them in if you can handle the heat. Read more
Ever since I went to Jamaica last year, I have been craving for real Jamaican food. One love hits the mark! It is literally... Jamaica in Houston. Honest prices with large portions. Homemade beef patties is beyond any franchise boxed frozen food. Highlyrecommended. Read more
