Had the butter chicken garlic naan and rice today. Love the Cauli pakoras, naan bread. Side enjoyed the butter chicken poutine... too. They serve a variety of Canadian, Indian and Indian fusion dishes. Family owned and run near, offering excellent, authenticIndian dishes and Canadian favorites. While the ambiance is a bit off, the food is unbelievably good and the service is wonderful. The Indian food is rich and... presented beautifully. Not what I expected at first as it's set up as a sports bar. You can smell the incredible Indian food the minute you step inside... and it was intoxicating. Not sure why this place doesn't have a higher rating considering the quality of the food, pleasantatmosphere and the level of service I received. Every time I have been here I have had a horrible experience. If you value customer service, then I would advise you to stay... away from this place. When we first went to this place, we ordered food in 2 different rounds (one after the other) as we werenot aware of the portions. This caused huge chaos in their kitchen. The staff, including the owner, started fighting. We waitedfor the food for an eternity and by the time food arrived we were not even hungry anymore. While paying the bill, the ownerfrustratingly came to us and asked us to order the food in one go from next time. The excuse was that they were busy and Indianfood prep takes time. It was shocking to see such a rude reaction from the owner, as we had never seen a restaurant where atable can?t order food more than once. On our next visit, we informed the restaurant well in advance about the number of people(3) and the order to dine in. When we reached there, the staff told us that our order was ready for takeout and gave us thebill. Without informing us, the restaurant packed our food for takeout. We tried to explain that we wanted to dine in but theowner was not ready to listen and kept on blabbing the same excuse from last time that they were busy and we should not haveordered food on the phone for dining in. Finally, we paid the bill and as we were leaving with packed food, the owner went toother customers and started b**ch**g about us. We overheard this convo and left the food there itself. If you are visiting thisplace, then keep in mind the following rules: 1) If you are dining for Indian food, then don?t order food more than once 2) Theyare always busy so order in advance 3) You cannot order for dining on the phone.
