Employees really need to know that there is no substitute for hand washing. When you are messing with someone's food you should... wash between each station and between messing with each customer. Taking cash and then putting gloves on does not mean you haveclean gloves on. Everything you just touched is now on your gloves if you don't wash your hands. I ordered a sandwich, that was not made very well. When I spoke with the manager he was extremely friendly, he listened to my... concerns, he explained to me what had happened. It turns out that the manager was there working even though he was not supposedto be on the schedule that day, as he had two brand new employees that he was trying to train simultaneously. He maintained aprofessional and easy to work with demeanor. He fixed my sandwich for me and even offered me a coupon for my next visit. Thefood was good the next time I went, and I remembered while I was there how well the manager treated me, and I was able to paythat forward to his employees. Very nice experience. Read more

I love Penn Station and live in Richmond so we allways eat at this one. Stopped today after being out of town for a week. The... floor was wet and slick,the guy that took my order didn't 6nderstand me and we got one sand with fries and two drinks.Had toreorder and wait for the second one. Love, love, love PS! Phenomenal! First time I experienced the goodness was roughly 7+ years ago. Average a few times year. Only... ever had 1 type of sub. Artichoke w/mushrooms. Its so perfect I have zero desire to change it up. I will attest that they haveother delicious subs as well. In fact I've never heard a single complaint from any purveyor of their food. Oh and to top of analready great sandwich experience the fries are delightful and the cookies are worth going just for a cookie. I literally haveon multiple occasions. Sweet tea and other drinks on fountain. This location always impresses. I call ahead often for pickup andhave never had an issue with my order.
