We ordered food for a family gathering. Our family came from Texas, Chicago, Philadelphia, and every single one of them said... this food was so amazing! Their number one favorite lets goat curry. They were surprised how good the kofta was because theynormally don?t eat veg. The chili chicken was amazing! And the sabzi was also so appreciated! And our family usually doesn?teat sweets so they loved the Gulab Jamun because they thought it was just the right sweetness . Read more

Having moved from Chicago to central Kentucky good ethnic food has been the only thing we've missed from the big city. Until... today. Masala was just as good, if not better than, our favorite Chicago Indian restaurant. Service was fantastic. Loved thecomplimentary papadam and chutney although the mint chutney was not very minty. Can't wait to go back and sample some moreyummies!! Read more

How is it possible to have such amazing Indian food in Central Kentucky? I don't know the answer, I just know we are so lucky. ... We have ordered multiple dishes from this establishment for months and they have never disappointed. Great flavor, spice andproduct. (And we're so thankful for this great food!) Read more

Food Fun Adventure Saturday took Fat Man Reviews first to Masala Fine Indian Cuisine in Richmond, KY. Masala serves traditional... Indian recipes in a remodeled gas station. Papadum, lightly spiced lentil wafers, with onion and mint chutney are served first. The wafers were crisp and airy while the chutneys were fresh, bright and tasty. I started with a bowl of Mulligatawny Soup. This is a soup made of lentil purée and carrots in a hot broth topped with fresh herbs. The soup was delicate, slightly spicyand the herbs added a brightness to the dish. Also, this is Batman's favorite soup. My fiancé had Allu Tikki Chat. This ismade with pan fried potatoes, fresh onions, tomatoes, cilantro and chick peas, then topped with a plum sauce. The dish is sweet, salty, fresh, crunchy and it just all works well together. I had the Chicken Vindaloo which is served with jasmine rice, and weordered garlic naan. The vindaloo is chicken and potatoes cooked in a tangy hot sauce. The chicken and potatoes were tender andseasoned well, but the sauce is what makes this dish. Spiced well, it is rich, thick and creamy. I could have just had the sauceby itself. The only knock was I ordered it hot, but it was served mild. The garlic naan was fresh and chewy, but a few pieceswere a bit crispy and slightly over done. Masala Fine Indian Cuisine serves a large variety of Indian dishes. Most if not allcan be made with chicken, lamb, goat, seafood or vegetarian. They also offer several rice delicacies, Indian breads and a fewdesserts. You can have your dish made mild, medium, hot or Indian hot. Masala Fine Indian Cuisine is Fat Man Approved. Read more
