Classic family style eatery in the heart of Richmond. Just off Main Street tucked down 3rd, the team at Jackson?s is making the... effort to serve you some delicious fixin?s with happy service! If it gets busy, have patience, they will get your food to you,and it?s worth a little wait. If you don?t wanna wait, you can step up to the hot food bar, and they will get you all set withmeat and sides to your liking. Delicious food! The cheeseburger and fries were good. The peach turnover was absolutely amazing!! I wish I would have gotten... more than one! I was just going to taste it because I was full from lunch and ended up eating the whole turnover before I wastwo streets away!!! Read more
I enjoy the food although like everything else the prices have gone up in the last little bit. And the serving staff are great... very friendly. However, my biggest complaint and the reason I won't go back is that it's just not very clean. The place reallyneeds a good scrubbing. Their soda machine was really dirty, the chairs are black, and the benches are black. And if the lobbyis that dirty it makes me wonder what the kitchen looks like. I won't go back until I hear they are cleaner. Read more

Delicious food! Today was our first time trying Jackson?s and I?d rather eat there than anywhere in town. Flavorful, home cooked... food at a better price than a fast food restaurant. Great portions. We checked out Jackson's restaurant here in Richmond Kentucky last night and all of the great press is definitely... deserving. Their flat top cooked double cheeseburgers were almost perfection. Sides of crinkle fries and battered onion ringshit the proverbial spot. Tell them that this is your first time eating and they'll give you an amazing Oreo creampie. Delicious. Read more
Eat locally owned! Fantastic southern food restaurant with a wide menu and a hot-bar counter for fast lunch plates without... waiting. This restaurant supports the Richmond community and takes care of its employees in many ways. You'll probably leavevery full and happy if you like southern classics like meat loaf, fried catfish, greens, beans, and corn bread. It might beharder to eat "healthy" here, but it is easy to eat well. The bathrooms and seating could really use a face-lift but everythingis serviceable. Read more
