My family and I have been to this Cracker Barrel many times over the years and even through the start up after the pandemic,... this store did their very best to keep the service and the food same as it always was. The Cracker Barrel menu changed severalmonths ago and it's not as extensive as it once was, but when there are struggles with supplies and with getting reliable andample help, you can understand that sometimes changes are needed to maintain a level of satisfaction from your customers. Samegreat food, same good service, same interesting and eclectic gift store. Always clean, restroom is clean and I've never beenhere that I wasn't thanked and ask to "come back and see us". The food was delicious as always. Hot, and served fast to the table. Our server was very polite, very accommodating. We did not... wait more than five minutes to get in. I ordered to-go lunch to take to my mother who is in a nearby nursing home. I ordered fried chicken tenders with 3 sides. She... eats very little, but she loved it as an alternative to the N. Got a country fried steak and dumplings while in the area. I placed a takeout online order and my food was ready and waiting... when I arrived. My first time at a Cracker Barrel?. Very disappointed? bacon tasted like grease soaked cardboard, biscuits were doughy and not... very tasty. Everything was lukewarm when brought to the table, the butter was so cold it would only crumble on the greasy,lukewarm pancakes. Not the mention the waitress forgot half our order?.
