We ordered from the food truck at the car show in Richmond today. It took one hour to get our food from the moment we ordered.... Totally unacceptable I don?t even know if the food is good but I will not be going back if this is the kind of service that theygive. O.M.G. AMAZING. I ordered online and was given a pick-up time but then got a call about 10 minutes later that my food was... ready. The food was kept in a warming box so when I picked it up and ate it, the temperature and of course flavor were perfect.I ordered the Catfish $13.99 with red beans. I am full but want more. It was my first time there. I bought fish dinners catfish to be exact. The flavor everything about it was really really good I... will try it again I will go there again. Fish tasted okay, that's why I gave 2 stars.... my husband can make better fried fish. Very disappointed in sides. Coleslaw came... in a tiny condiment container... it was warm and tasted old like runny mayo.... my second side was fries. There was literally 4fries. Well I must confess it had been years since I had last went to Snappers, but on Tuesday HsS fish n chips was closed so I Google... fish in Richmond and saw Snapper's was open. I ordered the two-way catfish &prawns with red beans &rice and colard greens as mysides. It was delicious and good portions. So I doubled down today, Thursday, January 27 and went back to try their breakfast. I ordered the #1 Cajun Shrip Omelet with country fries with wheat toast. And boy I was not disappointed, shrimp in every biteand the potatoes cooked to perfection. I will be going back tomorrow for the lunch special 2piece Tilapia with fries tocomplete my work week. They are open 7 days a week so if you are in Richmond or driving through call and give them a try, youwon't regret it. Read more
First time here today. Great Southern food! I ordered the whiting and fries combo with a side of medium macaroni and cheese. The... fries were sliced fat; offering a slight crisp which I prefer. The fish has a thick batter that was well seasoned. The side oftartar sauce and hot sauce complimented the taste. My friend had the same order except with the catfish, which was very tasty.Service was great. The owner was very helpful and took the time to know us as we sat and enjoyed the food. I heard about this place on Instagram. Food looked so good that they next day I drove way to Richmond from Oakland. The food... was nasty portion was so/so I got a 3way combination and meatloaf with Mac and cheese and dressing. I didn't care for nothing Iwas so...... disappointed hopefully it was just a bad day for them. I love to support black business but most of the time I'mdisappointed.
