A decent HK style restaurant with OK food. Last time I visited, every fried food was too dry and services were slow.

Best place so far in Richmond for some Hong Kong style cafe food!! Chinese people love to come to places that can serve food... that has "Wok Hei" meaning when they stir fry, the heat is high enough so you can taste it! And don't get me wrong I don't meanits burned or over cook! It's just right! If your in the area please give it a try they have 2 location, I went to the one inRichmond which opened not to long ago, enjoy everyone! Read more

Most of the items we ordered was good. We found this bug ???? in our food though and when I let the server know, she seemed... unbothered and brought the plate to her colleagues behind the cash desk and they all laughed at the dish. No one ever apologizedabout the situation and still charged us for the dish. Read more

My friends and I had a wonderful time dining at Van Tea! We were quickly seated and the owner was very friendly and efficient... with taking our orders. I ordered the fried rice noodle with sliced beef and soy sauce (my go-to order at HK style restaurants). It came in a large portion for a decent price and it was exactly what I was looking for to satisfy the craving for HK style food???? Would definitely go again! Read more

Portion ok. Price ok. Duck wasn't the best... seemed a bit old or perhaps over cooked? Soup is good! Rice and 2 meats was good.

10 % off until today (grand opening special). We went yesterday and waited for maybe 15 minutes- they seem to have more 2-people... tables available; there were 4 of us. Reservations can only be made for 6+. The service was good and the food came at areasonable time. My bbq duck noodle soup was so-so: the rice noodles were over-cooked, but eatable, and the duck was tasty, butnot too meaty. The tomato beef rice was good. I didn?t get photos of the other dishes at our table. I ordered a half Hainanesechicken to take out and it was moist, firm and delicious - I?d definitely recommend this chicken. Read more

I have tried Van Tea Cafe located in Vancouver and the food are always good. I?m so glad that they opened another restaurant in... Richmond as this one has more parking spots. I went there for lunch and ordered curry briskets, laksa noodles, sautéedcauliflower & preserved meat, citron honey & garlic spareribs, French toast. All the dishes were delicious and the prices werereasonable. I will definitely go back again to try the dinner menu ( the seafood feast is very tempting)! So happy! ???? Van Tea Cafe Richmond finally opened on Oct 19, Van Tea Cafe is a HK style cafe located on the corner of 41st... and Main. My family always has trouble deciding where to eat , my friend had recently recommended Van Tea Cafe so that's what Isuggested, and our whole family are now their loyal guests in general they have so many delicious dishes to recommend! First ofall, I personally highly recommend Drunken Chicken Pot, Singapore Laksa Rice Noodles, Steamed Rice with Northern Mushroom SliderChicken and Chipotle Chicken Ball Pot! Also worth mentioning is their breakfast, Both breakfast with French Toast were quitegood. I like their crispy sided sunny sides up and the smooth omelette. The French Toast totally satisfied our cravings. It wascrispy egg battered outside with egg custard jam inside. You could add the butter and syrup on top of your French Toast. TheSatay Beef on macaroni was very flavorful with the satay sauce. ???? Food was delicious and one of the best laksa in Vancouver!Reasonably priced and huge servings. The place is very clean inside Amazing staff, very kind polite and patient. Vancouver is anAsian food hub and Van Tea Cafe is the best Hong Kong styled restaurant. Very authentic, would 100% recommend. Read more
