The venue is much smaller than what it might seem. The business model is different than other clubs. Basically people can rent... the club and run their own events, this can be a good thing or bad thing. This restaurant would do much better as a nightclub rather than a restaurant. The music is pretty loud, the decor and furniture... is set up in a way that gives it a nightclub vibe (especially with that stripper pole), the huge bar that takes up a good chunkof the restaurant, and the 2 huge screens (advertising the restaurant itself with people who work at the restaurant and more).For a nightclub, I would probably rate this place with 4 stars (I do like the songs they had on their playlist but I alsonoticed shortly after that they only have about 10 songs which they replay over and over again.) As a restaurant, which is whatit is advertised as, I give it 1 star because the service is poor (so many servers but they either do not come to your tablewhen you need to or they come to your table when you don't need them), the food is mediocre and way overpriced (ordered the duckand egg omelette-way too salty, and the grass jelly dessert-grass jelly was super bland and lacked the correct texture), and theseats are not suitable for dining in. Visited late night, food quality was just ok but pricy compare to the quality. Have loud music there, can't even have a normal... conversation without yelling. When we ask the staff to turn the music down a bit since we were pretty much the only group leftat that time. Drinks not bad but expensive, they didn't ask what size I wanted and gave me large. Serivce wasn't bad. Washroom renovated since... I came few months ago. Sat all night playing games and they would clean up the drinks once you're done. Most places won't letyou play or will charge extra therefore the high score They make real money with the party rooms and alcohol sales but won't bemean against the small sales. Read more

This place is laughable. I don't even mind bad service, but I have a problem when my food shows up completely different than... what I ordered. Look at the photo... does the real thing even resemble the menu picture? Definitely not! Such a rip off for $15.I wouldn't even buy this for $5. Sadly we were forced to pay 15% tips for our group. Sunmary: horrible service, pretty good food. Under impressed by the service provided. Only two servers on a Wednesday evening,... but there were only two tables seated before us (one was almost done). Menu items were somewhat limited for this type ofplace. After ordering two meals and two drinks, it took a while to come. My drink and meal arrived before anything arrived formy dining partner. Server who took our order also couldn't remember who ordered which one. Other server walked by with the otherorder and tried to bring it to another table. Drink came even later. After we were done our meal for a while, we had to flagdown our server to ask for the bill. She proceeded to punch in the orders of another table that had arrived. I came in a group of 8 people, of everyone that ordered a drink, at best it was mediocre, at worst, tasted like water. The... drinks were more expensive than normal and were smaller as well as not tasting good. For a place that clearly specializes inbubbletea, they managed to mess up the most basic milktea. It was a watery beige color and tasted like melted ice cubes mixedwith perhaps an ounce of milktea. Other complaints around the table about their drinks included: overly sweet, slush was mostlyice and no fruit, tiny portion. The service we received seemed like we were an nuisance to the servers. *BE AWARE* No service, Mediocre food and way too sweet drinks. They will ask you for tips !! ( default 15% on card... machines) This place used to be call E's Tea and was a great place to eat and hangout during late night hours. But oh was I sowrong when I thought it's the same restaurant. We went there to eat while play darts there. We each ordered an item to meet theminimum order per person. The food was bland and server were all standing around looking at their phones. Food is mediocre andexpensive compare to all the other great places on Alexandra Rd. This should be your last resort.. Wait no.. No 9 opens 24 hrsand the Canto Auntie has way better service than True's tea. So never comes here. When we were paying for the bill, we left thechange on the bill plate.There was no service at all. I had to go to the counter to ask for ice water, ( they put it on thecounter, didn't even bring it to the table) The "Manager" asked us after he saw the changes : " did you leave these for tips? ifso, take it back , we don't need this kind of tip" ....
