Reviews for Steveston Bakery in Richmond, BC
They have delicious pastries and lovely staff. They open early in the morning which is perfect to take kids to grab a little ... something special before school. Read more
I appreciated the renovations, but since the upgrade, I noticed curiously that there are LESS offerings. Please have more baked... goods in your bakery. Some cakes, pies, cookies and scones please. Nothing is more pathetic than going to a bakery and findingnothing you want to eat. For some suggestions, how about a lineup of gluten-free or healthy cookies and muffins? *Special Hint- How about some local fruit, like blueberry pies, scones, muffins. Not one, repeat one blueberry item to be found. during theheight of season, in blueberry land. Shame shame. Please try a bit harder. Read more
Pretty average as far as bakeries go. Prices are noticeably up, and service notably down. Today is the second time in as many... weeks where I got tired of waiting in line and just walked out. With hope things will improve as the place has lots ofpotential. Read more
The bakery is a lovely gathering place for the community. The pastries are so fresh and delicious and everyone is friendly and... welcoming. I ate a late breakfast, eggs, toast, pan fries. I also took home an apple turnover. Delightful!! Read more
Good place to find a place to sit down and have a snack. The cookies, cakes and other bakery items are fairly priced compared to... other local coffee shop. The shop isn?t too big but there?re a few tables inside and outside of the shop for short-time visit. Read more
My husband and I go to Steveston Bakery every week as they have great sandwiches and pastries. We purchased a grilled cheese and... ham sandwich and soup combo today and within a couple of bites of the sandwich, we could taste something was off. We took apartthe sandwich and there was mold in it. It goes without saying, we're quite disappointed. Read more
Tried this place today with my partner and doggie. She painstakingly decided on a lemon custard tart as everything looked so... delicious. Cries of ecstasy could be heard as she described the crust as ?out of this world?. The lemon filling delicatelybalanced the line of not too sweet nor sour. The only thing I would haves likes would be a dash of salted lemon zest to roundoff the flavour. Price point was an added bonus. Coming in at under $3, I would be happy to bring a dozen of these to a party(post pandemic!). Looking forward to trying other treats here and supporting a local business! Read more
Coffee is in thermos, very weak, tasteless and often not hot. They charge $2.90, not worth it. A place selling baked goods... should invest in a good coffee machine. Read more
