Half my order was good but the egg tomatoes rice was simply gross and overly sweet like candy. The shrimp tofu also made my... girlfriend throw up. This location has poor food safety and standards. The Broadway location is much better Read more

Ordered a couple of party trays for a family dinner, everything was cooked to perfection and packaged nicely. The beef rolls... were everyone?s favorite, so flavorful and crispy!! The salt and pepper squid was well seasoned and fried to the perfecttexture. The best thing is the waitress was nice enough to let us sample their new dessert recipe, which is a coconut lycheejelly that is very refreshing for a hot day. Needless to say I?ll be back for more Read more

Based on the review we went there last night to try. We almost want to leave in the middle of our dinner. Food was super salty... and fried poorly, Beef taste nothing, it look like being frozen for weeks. We gave friendly feedback to the server but she justsaid " I will let the chef know" We left those food on the dishes and paid quickly and walked out. Read more

Seems like the other Peaceful Restaurant locations didn?t share their recipes with this one. The Mah Poh Tofu and Shanghai Stir... Fried noodles were nothing like the other restaurants. The Mah Poh tofu in particular just tasted like hot sauce with tofu andthe noodle dish was bland. We love that the other restaurants are consistent, so we will drive and pick up our takeout inVancouver next time instead of ordering from the Richmond location. Read more

Ordered a Yangzhou fried rice, Shanghai stir fry noodles, sweet and sour chicken. The fried rice is practically like plain... white rice with very little toppings (literally 2 small shrimps in the entire plate of fried rice). The sweet and sour chickenhas no flavor. Tastes pretty much like plain chicken next to no seasoning. I've never had any sweet and sour dish tasted thisbland. Pretty disappointing experience. Read more

I took my mom there as a surprise. The soup dumplings do live up to their reputation. I was so delighted that I ordered some... soup dumplings for takeout for the kids. The edible vinegar spheres were pretty cool. You can imagine my disappointment when Igot home to find regular vinegar instead, so I couldn't show my kids. We ordered some hand pulled noodles to try it out. Theconsistency of the noodles was great, but the flavouring seemed very lackluster, with all the focus being spicy. (we asked fornon-spicy) There was one server who didn't seem to care that we were there. There was only one other occupied table, so I wouldexpect that she would come by to ask if we needed anything else and add hot water to the teapot. The tea started out tepid, andundrinkable. At one point I had to stand up and poke my head around to get her attention so I could order more.. And then wewere waiting around for a long time to pay. It's not a good sign when we were the only customers in the restaurant at thatpoint. This restaurant has the potential to be an awesome place, but a little more focus on more than just really good dumplingswill make it so much better. Read more
