Reviews for Parkhill Seafood Restaurant in Richmond, BC
Waiter Sunny provided us nice and very good service. My family enjoyed.
We were not able to get a table at Kirin and we walked across the street to have brunch here. The food is as good as Kirin, but... fewer options. The service is about the same, prompt and silent. They speak Cantonese and do not respond well with English, butstill serve fast. Generally speaking, the food is good and the taste is as good as other places. This is Richmond, you cannever go wrong with Chinese food unless someone tries to do it intentionally. That is the good thing about eating in Richmond, the best is if you can speak Mandarin or Cantonese. English is ok. And thank God they take credit cards, unlike some smallerrestaurants only take cash. Try this one, you may like it. Read more
Dim sum excellent, line up waited for 45 menits, worth waiting even when we came asking for our turn the lady at the cashier... very rude and unfriendly, at the end after finished eating the same lady demanded 10% tips. Read more
Possibly the worst dining experience I've ever had. We came for dinner and the waiting staff was incredibly rude in their... service (presumably for not being big spenders). On ordering, the waitress taking out order straight up left and never returned. We had to wait about an extra 5-10 minutes to place our order from a different server. The staff was attentive and caring forother tables while exclusively spilling and splashing our food and condiments from kitchen to table. The staff did not say aword to our table after ordering and before paying. Were it based on service alone, I would give this place zero stars. The fooditself was a bit above average though it was nothing special for its price. Our meal came up to about 30$ a head which was onthe extreme cheap end of the scale here. Other restaurants at and below this price point can provide equal or better food. Myonly regret that night was entering and dining at this restaurant. I would only advise you enter if you're a rich party lookingfor at best, a decent bite. Read more
We dropped by Parkhill a couple of weeks ago for dim sum. It's located on the second level of a complex at No. 3 and Westminster... Hwy. Quite busy even in the early hours... which is a good sign. Most dishes we tried were pretty good including the tenderbeef rice rolls, pan fried shrimp and chive dumplings, and the Parkhill trio (lobster, crab, scallop atop a shrimpdumpling). Thought the spareribs were a bit too bony (not very meaty) and the tapioca pudding, while tasty, didn't have muchtaro paste in the filling. Also thought the deep fried taro with bbq duck was a bit too dense instead of being fluffy. Read more
Came here with a friend on a Sunday afternoon since Kirin and Shanghai Dimsum restaurants were all packed and didn't have tables... available. Got a seat no problem and food came fairly quick. Honestly dimsum food tastes more or less the same so really can'tcomplain about anything there. The abalone and fish maw in consomme was really flavorful, definitely give it a try if you can.We ordered six main dishes and two desserts and total came to almost $90. A bit expensive for two people but overall enjoyed thefood, ambience and care from waiters and waitresses. Nice lil place and will visit again if I'm in the area craving for dimsum. Read more
Wanted to try dim sum here but they open later than my usual time of 9am. Us senior citizens need dim sum early in the morn!... You young whipper snappers need to learn! Anyway, dinner time it is. We ordered the Peking Duck menu for 4. The amount was goodfor 4 football players. I enjoyed my meal and the service was excellent. Read more
I love exploring all kinds of foods, hence my reviews and what got me here. I really hate giving negative feedback so I'll try... my best to be honest here. My friend & I (2 people) tried to 2 person table set meal, in total in the end cost around $130 +. Ihave attached the photos. You probably would think those small dishes would cost that much? Yeah, we were shocked. At first, Ithought it would come as normal size dish, yet it came in these small tiny plates. We were hoping to get better, but it just gotworst. If you go to the restaurant and see what they offer, for maybe 20-40 bucks more, you can get a meal that will feed 10people! So it makes no sense to us for the whole night. Anyways, food is good, but felt like we got scammed, the amount thatthey served. They should have be cleared and transparent with their serving size. Very much appreciated if they have been thisway! Will update if they reach out. Read more
