Great food, decent price. Only losing 1-star due to cleanliness, but otherwise would definitely recommend. Standouts would be... the beef tartare and kimchi fried rice. Everything else was solid. Skewers were a bit on the sweet side. Definitely comingback! Read more

We came to this place due to its high reviews. Perhaps hoping to be wowed since we both like Korean cuisine and eat it quite... often. To be honest, maybe we needed to try more dishes, but based on the ones we ordered, we felt more let down thanimpressed. ?- Seafood Pancake - 1/5. Very lacklustre, tiny amount of morsels of mini shrimps and I think there was only 2-3very tiny pieces of squid that looked like it was diced into oblivion. Even the spring green onion was scarce. We were alsosurprised at the unconventional approach of this place?s seafood pancake - deep fried instead of panfried? The deep fried aspectdid not make this dish anymore unique. ?- Buckwheat Noodles - 2/5 The aluminium bowl that this dish came in was at least 200%larger than the actual ingredients themselves. Not sure if this was supposed to be an aesthetics notion. The overall dish isedible but ingredients aren?t the best quality in terms of value. Taste was on the bland side. Overall also another dish quitescarce in ingredients. I am starting to wonder at this point has inflation really hit this place that hard? So far the level ofexecution is Richmond night market level - poor value and mediocre execution. ?- Bimbibap - 4/5 The only redeeming dishtonight - and truly depressing if even this dish gets screwed up by Korean restaurant. Taste was good, moderate level ofveggies, cheapest beef but the star of this dish was the very hot stone bowl that provided lots of nice crispy rice in theend. ?- Will we return? Nope. I eat in Burquitlum?s Korea town quite often and also South Burnaby places and there are muchbetter options out there. PS: Tea taste like water - literally. Read more

The owner is one of the best people I?ve met. While we were waiting, a group of customers paid their bills and didn?t leave for... 30 mins after they?re done eating. And when they finally left the owner felt so guilty and he offered us a dish for free and herefused to take our tips too at the end, he apologized and were so nice to us when it?s not even his fault. Honestly exceptionalcustomer service and all the dishes that we ordered was simply amazing. Would recommend this place to everyone I know. Read more

Finally made my way to Mr. Bro after trying the other Korean fares on Alexandra Road. I'm so surprised at the high ratings... given by other patrons. Many patrons wore their coats during lunch as it was quite cold there. Seating was prompt but we had alittle wait for our order to be taken. The food was served quite quickly, but the dishes were not very flavourful. The japchaeare mostly sweet and not savoury enough, you can tell from the picture the marinade is unevenly mixed and some noodles aredarker than others. The noodles stick to each other, making it hard to eat. The bibimbap was unflavorful, and mostly rice. I wasvery disappointed with this dish as I've had better bibimbap in food courts near by. The stone bowl was not hot enough to makethe rice crunchy or crispy, but it was very chewy. Read more

It was great, sadly when we got the deep fried shrimp full order after she placed it, about 30secs later it fell over on to the... ground. Small joint that the food has just something that made it taste so good. I loved the udon, the cheesy chicken, and thebeef tartar. Everything else was good! It was a good experience. I do recommend have a soju and enjoy the moment with yourfriends while eating there. Luckily when we got there it wasn't that long of a wait time. Read more

Food was delicious here with exception of one dish!! There?s a bit of a wait to get in as they don?t do reservations. We... ordered glass noodles, spicy chicken, black bean rice cake (this one sucked), and the grilled beef full order. The prices hereare a little on the higher side for the amount of food they give. The black bean rice cake came with the rice cake still hardto chew and the sauce was still congealed. Really sucked because everything else was very tasty. Will definitely come back totry other menu items. Read more
