The place is beautiful.. excellent food.The server was very kind and we went for happy hour between 2-5 today. We were... celebrating our special day and we were so chatty and all. The server asked us to pay off at 4:15 as her shift was changing eventhough we were staying for another hour or so, we still paid. However , we forgot to pay the tip and then thought we would leavesome cash when we left. Five mins later the manager / supervisor came in interrogating us why we didn?t pay the tip or if wedidn?t like the service. We apologized and paid the bill along with tip this time. She remarked ? it?s okay mistakes happen? .We felt pretty upset and scolded . For the next one hour, no one came to even ask us a glass of water. We left around 5:30 .Wefelt very disrespected and upset . Never going back! When a person can spend hundreds on food , they can leave a tip too, butnever had someone scolded us for not leaving enough. Strange experience!! Read more

It is a great place to enjoy summer patio time. Wish they could make a better cocktail with the Empress Gin.

Great spot for outdoor informal brunch, lunch or dinner. Gorgeous patio spot; quiet, sunny. A little bit of a hidden gem just a... short drive from south Vancouver over the knight at bridge. I usually don?t leave reviews, but I felt inclined to as the food really wasn?t great - and I feel like I have a pretty good... taste palate... We started out with the lemonade and mango margarita and both were sour and kind of salty? Not worth 11$. Theappetizer: spinach dip was pretty good, the garlic shrimp was just ok. Not sure if it was worth 17$ though. Lastly, we got theparm chicken spaghetti - ok price but had no flavour, felt very homemade? the sockeye burger also had minimal flavour. The Kungpao chicken tasted as you would expect (so ok but not great). Overall, definitely wouldn?t come back or recommend. Reallyexpensive for low quality tasting food (and drinks) unfortunately. I came here with coworkers a couple of times. I ordered steak sandwich the first time and fish tacos the second time. One of... the servers know my company or some of our staff well. She provided excellent customer service to us. Other servers alsoprovided good customer service to us but sometimes the restaurant did not have enough staff, so we had to wait for theservice. The quality of food was decent. There is not a lot of options in this neighbourhood (east side of Richmond that isclose to Annacis Island). Their menu provides a wide variety of cuisines. You can find Western, Japanese, Thai and Italian foodhere. The portion is very big. The pricing is reasonable. For those who like to play golf you can come here for lunch ordinner. People who work near No. 7 or east side of Richmond can also come here for meals. The restaurant got lots of windows.When the weather is gorgeous, it is so nice to eat at the restaurant. Read more

I love this place any season of the year.The warm winter dinner inside the restaurant,the beautiful spring blooms hanging,the... chillaxing patio sitting in the summer while looking at the people playing golf.. The food is good and is really of great valuefor what you pay. I was impressed with the effort of the server to serve a slice of cheesecake with a Happy Birthday Greetinglettered using the chocolate drizzle.
