The service just isn?t good. When we are ready to order and already made eye contact with the server, they went right pass us to... another table. After he came back, he grabbed our ordering paper and literally ran away. And his attitude was really aggressiveand sounds angry. I understand people have bad days. Fair to say that their dim sum items are averagely OK to me and my 2 other friends as Hongkongese. Apparently they were short... of service personnel but we were on that day not unhappy with their services. We plan to go with a bigger group such that wecan try more dishes to come to a better idea about this restaurant. Read more

Good food and nice staffs. Dim sum are 20% off if ordered before 11:30am. Price is reasonable and quite busy.

Kam Tou is located on the second floor of Continental Shopping Centre (in the former Dragon View location). Dishes are a bit... hit-and-miss... I liked the short but silky beef rice rolls, egg tofu topped with shrimp paste and morel mushrooms, and thesauce on the steamed chicken feet. The truffle siu mai was a bit too hard, the xlb wasn't very juicy and had a few brokenpieces, and the beef omasum was a bit too difficult to chew. It was great that I made reservation before going to the restaurant. It was packed today Saturday. Also people were lining up at... the entrance. The interior is considered spacious. There is some space between tables. I hate to be too close to others as Iexperienced dining at a few restaurants in Lower Mainland which did not put up plexiglass or any dividers to separate tables andtables. My table had 8 dishes of food. I didn?t have a chance to take photos of all of them. Only photos of 5 dishes have beenposted. The taste/flavours and presentation of the food were pretty. I thought I would be eating a lot of MSG or sodium but Idid not feel very thirsty after lunch. Then this is awesome!! The customer service was good. The servers were very efficient.They had to handle all the customers, all the tables and food at the same time. The food came to our table quickly. The pricingwas ok comparing others. Some restaurants are even more expensive than this one. We have noticed everything has gone up in pricein general. So does dim sum. I would like to come here again and try other dishes. Read more

Newly opened DimSum restaurant that I think is overpriced for what you are getting. Most of the food we ordered were a bit... bland. The chicken in the chicken rice was mostly bones with very little meat, and the egg tarts had very thick pastry. Thediscount made this a bit more bearable but I would come back if I had to pay full price since there are better restaurants veryclose by. Read more

Great restaurant. Been here a couple of times pre 2021 March 30 restaurant restrictions. Newly opened and place is bright and... clean. I posted a review with some in restaurant photos then but for some reason the Google map listing disappeared. Here's afew photos of the takeout. Sorry for the ugly pictures but that's my cheap phone. Lol. Everything was yummy. I have developed apretty sensitive stomach these last few years and can't eat out too often. This restaurant I haven't had any problems with. Mostlikely they use fresh oil for stir fry and no added MSG. My 2 biggest nemesis. Read more
